Great Experience
Had a great round at Players Ridge. Staff was friendly and I’d most definitely play there again. Only issue would be the condition of several greens, which it seems they are working diligently to address.
This course is awesome
I have played this course numerous times. Although the course is still in improvement stages it is one of the best layouts in the area. The price is also a great selling point. Staff were friendly and pace of play was fine. Would definitely play here again
Nice course but needs some work
Course is challenging and definitely hiller than I thought it would be- several greens were very bad shape, and the cart paths were need of repair- there was also little notification about distance in fairway to green
It was the first time I played there and I drove over an hour to play. They closed 3 holes and they made two par 5 holes to par 3 holes - I think they should have just kept the entire place closed. We ended up playing 13 holes plus a lousy 2 par 3 holes yet they didn’t even apologize for it. We were told that they’ll give us a 5 hole credit later. Maintenance was really bad so I have no plans to ever return.
Greens
You could tell that the course is under renovation because some of the greens were all torn up. Otherwise, the course was nice, and semi-difficult.
Great Place To Play !!
Played 10/2/2021 , the course was in nice shape. A couple greens had bad spots but it wasn't much of a problem and the price to play a round more than makes up for the issue. New carts, nice layout, excellent practice green and range. The fairways are a bit sloped so you have to plan your tee shots carefully. It's a nice course with a couple tight fairways but overall very enjoyable. The club house and pro shop is very nice and the people that work there were very nice as well.
Greens
The greens need alot of work but was told new management was putting money into course. They get the greens right, it's going to be a nice place to play.
Players Ridge
Course layout was fun and challenging. Lots of hills and ridges add to the difficulty. Greens were recently sanded so it was difficult to evaluate the greens. Will definitely come again
Kudo's to architect & developer to create a golf course
Kudo's to the title above that a golf course can be created on some fairly challenging hills...well, extremely unforgiving for the most part, and challenging hills. This layout can produce some major frustration, if you allow it to. Even the parking lot slopes left to right, to mimic most fairways, heh heh. The only flat surface you can find on the property is the golf shop counter-space where you will find very very friendly and cordial staff, according to the two gentlemen present that i met. First time playing here and my wife and I felt very welcomed. Now this layout as i said will make you frustrated, if you allow, but i didn't. It is a course, we all have to play the same holes, so go get it. Maybe a few bounces your favor will counteract those that I promise won't favor your shot. But this part of the challenge. Can't wait to bring some friends here and another similar course nearby, that will call these hills "mountains", where I'll take some scats (skins) for certain. I give this course the respect it is due, and high marks, as opposed to blaming the "unfair" course as some might describe it. Terry
