Jamestown Park Golf Course

Played this course several times over the years. Always a tough demanding course. The 8th green is a joke and probably needs to be redone.

T box's are great, fairways clean & manicured....but oh those greens, slick, don't read too much on the breaks. Just a lil touch for straight putts, they're fast.

I try to play this course as much as possible. At least once a week. Green are fantastic - fast and challenging which is what you want. The fairways were excellent. The tee boxes are good. The staff is always courteous and respectful. Keep p the good work.

I would’ve given 5 stars but....course was not crowded so we wanted to start on the back since we were just walking 9 holes in the afternoon. You would’ve thought we were committing a felony the way the guy runs out of the clubhouse telling us we couldn’t. We play there a lot and have enough sense to see if others are coming up on 9 and if so letting them thru before we tee off. His tone and approach was completely unnecessary.

Jamestown Park Golf Course was in excellent shape. Greens were smooth and fast, very consistent.

The staff is always friendly, helpful, and professional.

Pace of play moved along nicely, 3 1/2 hours for 18 holes.

Scenic holes, combined with challenge, value, and variety, makes for an excellent golf experience.

Jamestown Park is my favorite public course in the area. Although many golfers don't like fast greens, I prefer them. Putting is consistent. Chips and pitches need a delicate touch.

For scenery, value, conditions, and staff, Jamestown Park Is tough to beat.

Pace of play as a single player was 3 1/2 hours for 18 holes with riding cart. Joined on last 2 holes by single players as groups ahead slowed down.

Overall, an excellent golf experience.

It has been several years since I have played Jamestown. The course was in great shape and the greens were perfect.

I’ve played this course for more than 30 years, but not as much lately as I did in the past. I did play it a little more than a year ago, and I’ve got to say this course has always been a great option. If you’re ever in the area treat yourself to a very nice course and outing. Very friendly staff, super nice course, and a very good price...I’ve got to tell you, these greens will test you, and the course is very player friendly.

Jamewstown Park was in excellent condition, even after much rain.

Tees, fairways, and greens are beautifully maintained.

I was joined up with a nice playing partner, ironically the same person from a previous round.

Pace of play was excellent, four hours with a full course!

I was told by the staff at Jamestown next time it was cheaper to call the Golf Course and book a tee time instead of using your App. Lesson learned

First time for my friends and I playing here. We were greeted nicely and pleased by the immediate looks of the course. Front nine has fairly straight fairways and plays very open to high handicappers. Back nine has a few doglegs and plays slightly tougher. Greens looked to have been recently verticut and still had a little sand on them but still rolled true. I had a problem judging putting speed but that was just mostly me. We plan on getting back down there again before summer is over.

I walked on as a single player and played 18 holes for $24 senior rate with cart.

Marcie is always helpful, friendly, and professional.

I started on the back nine due to a senior group that was on the front nine. This worked out perfectly, keeping the pace of play at 3 1/2 hours for 18 hours.

Jamestown Park is in excellent condition from tee to green. The course is always challenging, with lots of undulation and strategic placement required.

The day was warm and humid but better since I went out mid-morning.

I highly recommend Jamestown Park as a favorite golf course in the area!

The course has a really nice layout, but a little long on some holes. Which is not a real issue. However, the greens were extremely firm, plus they were really sandy. Very hard to stick a green. The other thing is, if you have 2-3 players, they'll add random players with your group to make it a foursome. Not a fan of that.
