Best staff
Jamestown staff is the best! Friendly, you can chat with them, they answer you like they know you for years. We arrive a little early, but the waiting time was great. Chatting to the staff at the starting tee, fenomenal, we could keep talking but our tee time was on…

Decent course
Not a bad course for the money. Be aware of the GN tee times, the app showed a lot of available times after 12ish. I arrived and the course was pretty well booked until late afternoon. The greens were fast. Looks like they were doing some work on a few of the holes fairways. Nothing that was really in play. The staff seemed friendly. I recommend playing this course. Not much waster on the course to worry about. They are building new bathrooms on the course, so they have porta potties for now.

Course Review
Excellent course. Always immaculate, manicured. Have played Jamestown since the 1970's. Only critique of course is with the new bermuda greens, the greens that runaway from the golfer (slope backwards) has made it a bit unfair. All in all, an excellent facility and well managed.

Good for the money
Got the tee times through militaryteetimes.com and two people had to cancell. Managed to find one more but still lost the value of the last tee time. The Course was very plesent explaning why they could not do anything about it. Would not buy more then I'm sure will be able to come any more.

Slow Play
Great course, but don’t go on a busy day. Play very slow. Staff does a great job maintaining. Priced fair and would go back, walking the course should not be allowed when course is stacked with tee times.

The greens are great. Large, undulating and fast.
I enjoyed the course. We were a threesome behind a foursome of very slow players. We waited on every shot for 18 holes. I never sensed they even considered letting us go thru. Was it because our threesome included 2 women? The entire golf course was behind us waiting on us, who were waiting on them. I reported this to the pro and he explained Monday is usually slow, however today was very busy. Why they don't have a Marshall out surveying the course is beyond me! Cheers!

Great course
Great layout, must manages your shots. Course is coming around for this time of year, grass is coming in and still spotting in some areas.. Clean and well merchandised pro shop. Staff is super friendly and accommodating, Today the course was packed and pace was real slow, and staff was out on course checking with players, letting them know.it was a busy day and just play slow and be patient.
Cudos to the Snack bar, one woman show and she keeps up with the pace, smiling and friendly, all the while making a great hot dog! Really makes you feel welcome and appreciated..
