Staff got my range finder left in golf car
Thanks the girl working at club, she found my range finder left in golf car and went to club house to find me.
Worth the hour drive for me
Played October 2024. I’m really glad I went and am adding to the course rotation. When I first pulled up and saw the first there holes it looked plain, but the course is anything but plain. There are some really inventive holes, some shorter doglegs and some excellent elevation changes. If you put the ball in the right places you can really attack the course. Greens are in great shape, and are challenging. If you are on the wrong side of the hole it can be treacherous.
Bunkers don’t have the best sand, but are definitely playable. Layout on this course is amazing. If it’s your first time, have a gps app because you need to know where to lay up to on some of the trickier par 4s. Overall the course is in great shape. Staff very friendly and I teed off at 2:30 and wasn’t sure I’d finish. Pace of play was really good for a Saturday afternoon, finished in plenty of time before dark (Sunset was around 6:50). Bonus: the restaurant attached to the clubhouse is a nice relaxed place to eat after your round. Very friendly and the fried chicken sandwich was very good.
I live an hour away so I’m not going here wvery week but I plan on playing at least a couple of times per year. It’s hard to book as single but when I saw an open spot I grabbed it and was glad I did.
BEST VALUE IN NC!!!
Great greens great pace of play! Best value I am r seen in NC! Great lay out great golf
Good Time
I just suck but the course is in great condition. Very hard course with changes in elevation. Need to work on the game.
Nice course
The layout and course conditions were very good. The pro shop and grill/bar are very dated but not so important.
Not worth it
The staff weren’t super welcome and zero driving range. Probably one of my least favorite course layouts I’ve ever seen - no markers in the fairway, no signage on where to go next and not a single place to refill your water on a 90+ day. Much better courses in the Charlotte area for less.
Nice couse
Well cared for. Lots of bling holes and a few sketchy tee box locations but will play again. Maybe with any luck today
Stolen Ball
The course was ok however, the greens had recently been sanded and made putting difficult.
The worst part were the locals driving around picking up our balls off the fairway. I had to yell at a couple to get my son’s ball back after he hit it in the middle of the fairway.
Lot of blind holes
If you know the course, I am sure it is more fun to play, but if it is your first time, it can be very deceiving.
It was a lot of fun and their fairways are in great shape. The greens are fast, Almost feel like turf.
Great time.
Wonderful improvements
I visited the bar/clubhouse prior to the round with my military buddies. It was clean and the staffers were friendly. My food was good. The golf shop was clean and organized as well.
The course looks great and the greens were hard, but true. The fairways were freshly mowed and I can see where they’ve made major landscaping improvements. We will definitely be back. If you have mobility issues, you probably don’t want to come because you will have plenty of shots where you’re leaning
So,so
It must have been a great course in the past. The conditions are less then perfect.
Lots of areas need grass on the fairways.
The greens on the front nine were ok, the back 9, not so much. Some are punched, some are missing entire patches of grass.
The layout is beautiful but there is better out there around Charlotte.
Absolute Dogtrack
There’s 0 difference between the fairway and rough. Greens were in good shape but lightning fast and if you did not keep the ball below the hole, it would be a 3 putt. Overall would value at $25, and payed $50. Also terrible pace of play and every person that plays this course is your standard Sunday hack.
