Great golf experience
I am from Florida visiting Sugar Mountain NC . I had a great 18 holes experience playing with my daughter . Pro shop and staff are super friendly. Course condition is nice. Especially greens are in great shape. Lay out is unusual but not that difficult to find . I love thet course..
course well maintained
A lot of people out working to keep this course in good condition. Unfortunately, the day we played, the greens had recently been punched and sanded.
One of the worst courses I’ve ever played
Course was poorly maintained, there were multiple tee boxes where the grass was longer than my tee. The layout didn’t really make sense and there weren’t any signs directing you to the right direction. Very poor conditions. I don’t think I’ll ever play again but it was very cheap.

Layout was a little confusing for the first time. Greens in great shape. Fairways ok, but not great. Enjoyed my round.
Value is consistent with price
We wouldn't hurry back to this course. It was inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. We waited on just about every shot. Lots of locals and everyone seemed happy!
Definitely potential
This course was fun and I could definitely see the potential they are trying to reach. It was a confusing layout that kept us frequently relying on directions from regulars. Lots of construction happening. Overall the course was fun. Definitely will return to see their future progress. Gave amenities a one star because there was no food at restaurant and the range is poorly set up because you have to pause for passing carts as the driving area is across the cart path. Plus, #1 tee box is right beside driving area.
