Nags Head Golf Links

Course was in good shape . Got behind 2 couples who looked new to golf & had no golf etiquette to let faster players through. Nice layout, narrow fairways in some places offered a nice challenge. I will try to get back, but only through GolfNow

This course is tough. It was in great shape though. The Marshall was friendly and recommended white tee boxes. Good choice. Putts rolled nicely on these greens. I didn’t really spend time in pro shop to comment on that. Beer in cart was nice and cold. I lost over a half dozen balls. Our three-some was behind two four-dimes for the front nine but it wasn’t bad. Felt like we had the back nine to ourselves.

I love this course! Challenging and narrow with great views of the ocean.

Do yourself a favor...quit thinking about it and just book your tee time. It's a true links course with tight fairways, plenty of hazards, and deep rough. Beautiful course in every sense of the word. Highly recommended!

I finally played this course after many years. I was very disappointed in the quality and condition. It is a short and very tight layout. It seemed like they didn’t have enough land to build a course there but they did it anyway. Women may enjoy the course but it wasn’t what I like in a golf course. They said the course was in great shape but the greens were recently aerated and the tee boxes were awful. Practice facilities were not very good either.

From the friendly greeting at the bag drop ... to the club attendent cleaning my clubs on the parking lot, and certainly the beautiful golfing experience in-between, Nags Head Golf Links was wonderful. Each hole offered a challenge, as well as breathtaking water views. The Par 71, 5717 yards — from the Blue Markers — can play much longer when the ocean breezes kick-in, especially on holes when you’re hitting directly into the wind.

The greens were on the small scale; recently “punched,” which was the only disappointment I had — many of the greens could have used more sand.

If ever in the area, however, you need to play this course. It willl certainly make you and your game feel better. It’s a “feel good” course all the way.

Great weather and great course. Course was in good shape, short but very challenging. Got a great golfnow price. Pace of play was good, really enjoyed the holes with the sound view. The staff in the pro shop was on the phone when I checked in and didn’t seem to want to be bothered? Only issue though.

I played this course before in the wind and it was brutal. Today the weather was beautiful and we had a great time. Course is in great shape and pace of play was terrific on the front nine. At $37 this is a super value in the OBX.

The course was in excellent condition considering that it is still early spring. The greens were quick and true and the rest of the course was in very good shape as well.

Very nice course. Unfortunately it was very windy the day we played so it was not as enjoyable as we would have liked. Beautiful view along the sound!

Very good course. Greens were perfect and fast. It was windy as I am sure it is most of the time. It is very short but you have to hit your spots or you are in trouble. Enjoyed the challenge.

A great spring day. Even with the grass coming out of dormancy, they had everything mowed nicely and fairway lies were nice and you could spin the ball into the greens. The greens were in fantastic shape and putted very well and very true. I was amazed at how a couple of holes that were damaged by hurricane Michael last fall have recovered. Kudos to the staff to get that mess cleaned up and make it like it never happened.

Not bad but fairway grass hasn't come up yet. Greens were nice though

Enjoyed the layout . My 10 year old son had a blast . I will play again

Driving accuracy is the name of the game. I used my 3 or 4 hybrid on most tee offs I left my driver in the bag except for the 18th hole. Wind was the issue throughout the round and water eventually was my downfall. I would have scored better had it not been for multiple water balls. I still enjoyed the round and recommend playing this course if you're in the area.
