Beautiful well groomed tees fairways, and smooth true mildly slower greens. Fairly open forgiving course. Great grass driving range, and putting green, putts like the on-course greens. At age 71, I played the 5900 yard blue tees (back gold tees are 6200 yards), 9 hcp. Pace of play is average, lots of players, popular course. Great friendly professional staff from pro shop, starters, to electric cart associates, who bring the carts to your vehicle, plus later a very helpful staff member (Evan Foster, now on NC State golf team). Will definitely return when next we visit OBX.

Friendly staff, well run, course for all abilities

We played this course during Thanksgiving week 2020. Beautiful day, sunny and not much wind. Course is very forgiving with wide fairways, but at the same time had intermittent hazards to keep it interesting. Enjoyed the morning playing this course and will definitely come back.

First time playing this course, and will definitely return. The staff was professional, extremely helpful, attentive, and friendly. We had barely gotten out of our car when someone arrived with a cart and offered to help load our bags! Another arrived to pick it up when we returned to our car after playing. The practice areas are laid out well and easily accessible. Pace of play was fine, and we were paired with another twosome who were great play partners. The Marshall gave excellent instructions with an overall layout of the course, and we found it challenging enough as well as enjoyable. It was meticulously groomed and maintained, and they had every possible level of caution in place for these troubling times we are now in with Covid-19. I highly recommend this excellent golf club and course!

From arrival to finish, staff was very friendly. Course was playable for all skill levels. Very nice pro shop. We will definitely be back.

Had a great time and course was in good shape. Greens were running good. Pace of play was excellent.

Played our first round of the new year today. Great course very forgiving while trying to shake off the rust.

Fun course. Not to challenging for a high handicap. Some difficult shots but overall the course was in really great shape. Pace of play was great. Practice facility was top notch. Starter was very friendly and helpful. The Bar and Grille attached had a great beer selection. Shelley was very friendly and helpful about giving tips about the local area and OBX. I will definitely be back again in the spring.

Always our first course when we come to OBX! Greens were in GREAT shape for the time of year and staff is friendly and helpful

It was a beautiful late December day and got a great deal on golf now. I was a single that was paired with two others with at least two foursomes in front of us and we finished in just under 4 hours. Greens in great condition. Staff super friendly and the starter took time to explain the course while we waiters to start right on time. Played their sister course last year and just as nice. Great facility would recommend to anyone.

I’ve rarely been welcomed so well in a golf club! Friendly staff, As soon as we parked our RV, There was a cart wsitimg for us at our parking Space! Nice driving range, wide fairways, fast greens. Took us 3h15 Minutes to complete 18 holes, événement though there was a groop of 5 in front of us....

Wife and I had a great day. The wind was a steady 15 to 20 and other than that was terrific. Very friendly to couples, seniors, and higher handicap. I have been told the greens weren’t as good as usual but they were smooth and quick. No one behind us or in front of us most of the day. Lot’s of fun. Will play again next time down. Also the staff in the golf shop and snack bar made everything very easy

Played here for the first time today and had a great round. We had no one in front of us and zipped through at a great pace. Fairways were in great shape, loved the long par-5s. Saw a pretty cool flock of wild turkeys on the 14th.

Definitely play here again if given the chance.

A great course, but could definitely could use a Marshall to improve the pace of play. We were behind a slow group who were totally oblivious to the groups behind them. They had a least two holes open in front of them while there were 4 groups stacked up behind them.
