Great conditions but a couple of the holes not really fair as am not a long ball hitter. All in all had a good round

Hole number 12 will have you crying like a little girl

This beautiful bayside links course demands accuracy and thoughtfulness. The course is well maintained and has many interesting, memorable holes. Because of it's sound-side location, you must also deal with windy conditions, usuallly from the direction of the water. I have played the course many times, and always look forward to the challenges and natural beauty it presents. Bring your "A" game and enjoy your round at Nags Head Golf Links.

Enjoyed what we played which was the back nine as the front nine was being aerated. It is a more difficult for ladies who do not hit a long ball as some of the carries over water are quite long. Would play the course again but would want to play the whole course.

I booked through GolfNOw and that took the edge of the price. The course is very well designed, well maintained and challenging. Greens are nice and true but also very soft. You don't get any roll on them when you hit them. We were behind a fourball that must have thought the course was theirs. No one if front of them and a traffic jam behind them. Terribly bad golfers and no letting through of course. This took away most of the fun for us. After a 5 hour round we got to the clubhouse ready for a beer, only to be disappointed as the bar had just closed at 5pm...

Wow. Beautiful clubhouse that fits in to the Outer Banks design and a real lookout nest that allows you to see the Atlantic Ocean and the Roanoke Sound, and Manteo Island. The course itself does not disappoint in design or conditioning. There is no "easy" hole on the course, as the shortest holes require good placement off the tee, and water, sand, and wild native areas make you think, plan, and even alter your strategy from shot to shot. Add some wind coming off the ocean or the sound, and this is a true "links-style" day. I will go back.

Enjoyed playing this course. Challenging with a nice variety of holes including water on many. Rewards the straight ball striker. Very scenic along the sound.

Very nice beach links. Playable but challenging. Staff was excellent. Great day on the links. Good value for a vacation round.

Have played this course since it opened--really fun course to play but the greens are always too soft ---don't understand why they are not rolled- I like hitting a shot and having it stick, but you do like to get some roll

THere are too many places on the course where if you are in the 1st cut off the fairway you can loose your ball and then when you find it you cannot advance it very far ---understand if you are far off fairway there should be a penalty but not in the first cut ---good example is up the right side of 18 fairway

Front 9 moved ok. On the back it slowed to a crawl, very very very slow. It turns out it was 3 couple's (thats right a sixsome) two groups in front holding up the rest of the course. No marshal, ever. No fun either. Never going back!

This was my first time playing, I would like to start by saying the course was a little hard to find. When I pulled in to the the lot I had someone bringing a cart out to me right away, they loaded my bag and brought me to the club house. The staff gave me some local advise and suggested I buy the yardage book, thank god I did. This course is in great shape and is manageable from the tips if you hit your spots. The risk reward is there. Just make sure you consider the wind.

Overall the course was in great condition and was a lot of fun to play. Tight in some areas so you have to be straight off the tee but a lot of short holes that you can take advantage of. Pace of play was slow due to over booking tee times and people were on top of each other but overall a lot of fun to play

I am not one to offer negative reviews on courses I play. Unfortunately, today is my first one. Today, was a hot, humid day continuing the heat wave for the week. Therefore an early tee time was set to hopefully finish the round in 4 hours or less. From the start, two groups of three (was told they were family from the starter) were all over the golf course. The group I was playing with literally, waited 10-15 minutes before teeing off on almost every hole. On the turn, when I shared my frustration with the starter, he replied its "not my turn today" to push them along. Well, to make a long story short, when you pay a good price for a round of golf, the expectation is the pace of play is consistent and a ranger (was not seen again after the hole 3, par 3) is moving the pace of the groups, so everyone who plays Nags Head is getting maximum enjoyment from a course that has beautiful views and a nice layout with some challenging holes.

Course was in great shape. The wind always blows hard and make your round very challenging. I enjoyed playing this course very much!!!

Slow slow slow slow. Waste of money! Couldn't finish a round of golf in 4.5 hours with TWO and a cart. Pace of play is horrendous and for $100 I will never play here again. Very upset!

Played the course on vacation in the outer banks , on a hot deal from golf now! Afternoon was hotttttt, but the mild ocean breeze made it tolerable. Very well maintained course, tight with some blind shots and risk reward shots. Beautiful ocean views. Staff was friendly. Played a few holes with a golfer who knew the course which was helpful
