Nags Head Golf Links

My son Gabe and I had a great day and we joined with another father and son. I shot a net 66 (best round of the year on a fairly unknown course which I only play a few times a year). Great day and we;ll be back.

Went out as a single. Played through 2 groups of 2 and finished 18 holes in less then 3 hours including the two I played through. Shot a net 70 on a 70 par course. I shall return and bring friends.

The course was absolutely a delight. I am pretty picky about courses, but this one was fantastic. I played from the back tees due to the course being short. 5700 from the blues, 6200 from the tips. Many blind tee shots with water on every hole. Many holes had very tight landing areas with a strong wind off the bay. There were no less than 6 holes literally 10 feet from the bay.

Even though the greens had been aerated within the past few days, the experience was terrific.

The course is in very good condition There are several blind shots on this course. Using a golf app with GPS to determine direction and landing area for many holes helped since it was a new course for me. Wind will affect ball flight here, so keep that in mind during your round.

The course was great. Very windy, which was expected (keep it low, off the Tbox). We was told a starter would be on #1 and nobody was there. Not a problem, except we had another group with the same Tee time. We handled it ourselves and had a great time.

We booked online and headed to the course......where we found the back 9 was closed for maintenance and the front nine greens had been punched and sanded. While the staff was very friendly, had we known the current conditions, we never would have booked.

Overall the course is good condition, not great, good. This course attracts a lot of first timers who don't fill their divots or repair their ball marks, which is sad. It's a very short course and you should expect to be on the course for a while.

Driving range it $7 for a small bucket of a mixed bag of low compression golf balls - all vary in flight, no consistency. The range has no markers, or at least it was not clear to me.

Pace of Play - there was marshall out of the course but he didn't' seem to motivate the group in front of us that was taking FOR-EV-ER to play.

If you are a senior, first timer, or a weekend warrior who would most likely play this course.

Have played the course multiple times and without a doubt the rounds are slow 4+ hours minimum but one of the most fun to play.

I recommend not playing this course on a windy day. Can make for a couple rough holes. Tee boxes could use a little work. Other then that I loved it!

Treated great by everyone. Narrow fairways are quite the challenge. Greens were perfect.

Really enjoyed playing this course! The fairways are tight and alot of strategy is required when selecting your approach! You must hit straight or expect to loose a lot of balls. The starter was friendly and pace of play was good while we were there.

My friends and I played 27 holes yesterday and were astonished by the complete ignorance, rudeness and lack of customer service by the pro shop attendant and restaurant attendant. We were made to think we ruined there day by showing up. All I can say is that if you hate your jobs so much you should consider a change. I will say however the starter was friendly and helpful. I feel sorry for the ownership of this course if this is the best they have representing their business.

A true links course along the beautiful sound in Nags Head North Carolina. Necessary to use every club in the bag; especially so with a constant, whimsical breeze adding to the challenge. Using Golf Now, made it unbelievably easy, and an exceptional deal. We walked up, showed our print out, and were directed immediately to the first hole. A beautiful day, golfing at Nags Head Links made it even better.
