About
The Crystal Coast Country Club sits along the Bogue Sound, sprawling across sand dunes and weaving through the Maritime Forest. The club boasts the only golf course on the 21-mile island of Pine Knolls Shores. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course doesn't have the length that some other championship layouts have but there are still plenty of challenges in store. In addition to bunkers that are strategically placed along the small greens and narrow fairways, water comes into play on 13 holes. Though there are some tight spots that can be tough to navigate, the golf course is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy. Regardless of ability, you'll be able to enjoy beautiful scenery, especially on the back nine where you'll have the best views of the Sound.

Nice course, great pace of play
Very pretty course, nicely taken care of and in good shape. Greens rolled well.
Wonderful experience
I have played this course only 3 times but every time I’ve been to the course it’s been a terrific experience. Our round was with good pace, the staff very friendly, the course was in great shape, my only complaint is the cart girl made her last run at 1:00pm. I would appreciate another round once more during the round!!
Island golf
One of my favorite tracks. Don't be put off by the course length. You better bring some game to play a low round. Between Beach wind and some tight target shots it can challenge you. The greens are good, some pretty large, but you need to be in the correct spot or a 3 putt can happen! They roll well, I think they can get them a bit faster but then it gets even trickier. Wonderful views, in parts you would never know the ocean is just a few hundred yards away!
Challenging yet super fun
Course was in great condition, even with the fact that they had just punched and filled fairways, balls rolled smoothly and the greens were super fast. This is a tight and challenging course that will require you to be more accurate than powerful, but if you can combine the two, get ready for a super fun day. The staff was top notch, everyone from the cart staff to the clubhouse was ready to offer insight on the course and once they found out it was our first time, made themselves openly available to everything we needed and more. I can talk about this course for days, but there's no point. Just come out and play it!

Great golf club on Emerald Isle, NC. Very cordial and friendly staff. Beautiful layout on the Bogue Sound. Course is in great shape with quick tight greens. Don’t miss the opportunity if you are near the coast.
Nice Course On a Beautiful Setting
Crystal Coast Club is a wonderful facility with beautiful views in almost all locations on the property. It’s a very playable layout that is well maintained and enjoyable for all handicap levels. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and want you to enjoy your visit. We will be back for another round while on the island.
