Excellent Course
Fairways and greens were in great shape. Staff was helpful and friendly. The only that wasn't prefect on one or two holes the green side sand traps needed some sand to be added. Well worth the hour+ drive to get there. I'll play this again soon
Very Pleasant Round
Very nice course. Wide open fairways. Fast, true greens. Sand traps in good shape. Well-maintained. Price was very right. Wish it wasn't 70 miles away but I'll be back next year. Just a very nice golfing experience. Layout not really challenging for the advanced golfer but still fun to play. A very "friendly" course without being a muni. Again, in great shape. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially at that price point.
Recent play
Greens were just sanded so tough to really rate. Overall we liked the course. Golf apparal in pro shop….meh
Disappointed in the Staff
I booked this course on GolfNow at a discounted rate of $35 and they refused to honor the price in the clubhouse. The gentlemen working at the desk and the GM where incredibly rude and indicated it was GolfNow's mistake and they wouldn't honor the price. The course and pace of play where great. It was disappointing to drive an hour to this course and be treated poorly.
Great fun well maintained course
Great course great shape just a shame its about 1 hour 20 min drive for me. But def worth the trip 2-3 times a year
Great track!
First time playing here, saw all the great reviews so drove an hour from Raleigh to check it out. Definitely worth the money and the drive! Great course!
Very enjoyable day!
I hate to give a 5 stars review, because I want to save this course for myself. I drove a little over an hour to meet 1/2 way with others. We plan to make this a monthly play date. Greens were great, about a 10 roll out. Pin placement was fair. Fairways were very good! Sand was white and deep, and I would know. Not my best day of golf. But I liked it!
Belmont Lake does not disappoint
Love coming here. Pace was slow but it was a holiday weekend. Had a ton of rain the 2 previous days was wondering how the course would hold up. There were wet areas but the golf was excellent.
Great Value
Enjoyed our round here. Greens and tee boxes in excellent shape. Nothing negative to say. Will be back.
No warning that fairways were aerated
There was no warning that the fairways had just been aerated and were a complete mess. Don’t know if that’s on the club or GolfNow. Had wanted to play the course based on reviews. The person at the desk was friendly but didn’t mention or apologize for the conditions. The greens were in very good shape, and it’s a solid layout. Will definitely return in future when course is in better shape.
