Course was in decent shape nothing to steer me away from playing here again but overall nothing great and nothing bad about it. Would play again

Variety of challenges
This was a fun course to play with a variety of challenges. The tee boxes are not in good shape but the club is working on rejuvenating them. The greens are challenging but fair. The practice range is closed but should reopen soon. I would be happy to come back for another round.

Pace of play insanely slow
Starters don’t enforce people backing up the whole course. 5.5 hour round on Saturday… not ideal

Good, but Not Great
This was my first time playing the course, the young man in the pro-shop told me it would be better than one of my local courses. Unfortunately, it wasn't close. The fairways were in good shape, the greens left a little to be desired. Still getting plush from aeration, the ball had some unfriendly bounces. Had a little rain and a couple of tee boxes were swamped. Overall, a decent place to play, especially at the rate we got ($28). Course is LONG and TIGHT, but a lot of fun. We had a good round and would play again if I was in the area and got a similar rate, otherwise I probably wouldn't travel to play it.

Not bad
So first impression was decent as clubhouse was nice and staff was friendly. However course tees need work, and greens had been Airrated and notice was not given to players reserving times which I feel was bad as it completely changed the mood of the round. Bar at clubhouse had excellent food only took too long at turn. I was told 5 minutes for a brat that took like 15 minutes causing us to be out of position on. Back nine, but quality was excellent and worth the wait. Clayton, NC

Nice course in the Heart of Raleigh
Course is in awesome condition. The new management have improved the golf course. Course lay out is challenging yet playable for the average Golfers. Greens and bunkers are well attended. Last time I played fairways needed work , now the fairways are getting better. Will recommend to any one looking for a challenge.

On GolfNow, I selected a tee time where I expected to play with a group. I arrived on time, and find that no one was there. I was wondering why. I proceeded to play, and I saw that there was a three players group who held us up. They waved me to play through, I did. Then I reached another group of two players, who kept on replaying their tee offs, or replaying their mid range shots. On top of that, the greens were terrible! There were putts that I know should have gone in, but it didn't because of the "dots" on the greens. And then I lost my Rangefinder, and asked the front desk if anyone has returned it... no one did, but the guy who was there told me to call at 5. I did call at 5, turned out it was closed. What the heck? So I had to come over the next day, and find out that no one turned it in. It's all one thing after another that turned me off. Even thought the course was beautiful, but the experience is what makes it poor.

Lotta potential
Other than my cart dying and having to push it with the help of some other golfers, it wasn’t a bad course, tight on some holes and wide open on others. Conditions weren’t to bad and it was a challenging course. Just maybe charge the cart longer or get some new batteries idk.

Heddingham
Overall it was a great day to play. The course was in great condition there were some tee boxes that the ground was so hard that it broke the tee upon insertion. Otherwise the course played nicely it was a great outing.
