Raleigh Golf Association

RGA is relatively short but enjoyable. It's centrally located in Raleigh which minimizes travel time. The staff is friendly and inviting.

The course is great for beginners learning to play. The price is one of the cheaper around. The course is open and the trees are thinned out which makes them playable for us that like to hit our ball there. The front 9 were better maintained than the back 9. I would definitely like to see this course get some proper maintenance and care. That would take my overall rating from a 3 to a 5 easily. Still it's worth it for the price and fun to play!

This course has always had good prices and availability. The staff is very friendly and will make any accommodations you ask. I know the foot traffic here is a lot but for the value the greens shouldn’t be as bad as they were. Some of the worst greens I have played on. I hope they can take the fall and winter to make these better. Still a good little course.

This course is great for beginners and intermediate golfers. Being a public course the greens are a little rough because of players lack of etiquette of fixing divots and ball marks. Overall though a good course.

There were a lot of angry golfers out there as several greens had hack marks from missed putts. People do not take care of this course well. Greens were bumpy and slow.

This was my first time playing. The course is short, , but had enough character to keep you interested. The greens are in a bit of rough shape, but everything else was excellent!

Some of the worst greens you can find. Clearly not maintained. Terrible course layout. Multiple holes right next to each other. Have to cross a busy road at the end. Pace of play is slow. Staff seems preoccupied. Don’t have enough carts. No range. Fine for very beginner golfers due to hardly any hazards.

Just save your money. Zero effort to maintain this course. Greens are worse than anything Iv ever seen.

Greens have crab grass growing throw them, nobody repairs ball divots so true putting is hit or miss.

The greens are the absolute worst in the area. Between the un-repaired ball marks, weeds, lack of mowing, lack of grass, disease and general oversight and lack of maintenance, you could hardly read, let alone make a put. Very inconsistent from green to green and only went from bad to worse and back to bad.

Course in very good shape, greens…not so much. Appeared to be covered in crabgrass.

Don’t come if you get a tee time after 9am. You will be waiting on a cart for 30+ minutes and tee off late
