The course is in great shape and has a nice layout. It is very open for the most part and does not have a lot of hazards, but the pin positions add a nice element of difficulty. The greens were in good shape and played pretty fast. I will definitely be back and would recommend it for beginners and experienced players.

First time @ RGA...Nice relaxing round … course in decent shape … just challenging enough... will definitely play again... Good value for the $$$'S

The pace of ply was ridiculously slow and the grounds need TLC. Huge sections of dirt/rocks in the fairways and several greens are in disrepair.

Had a really good time today on this course. The fairways and greens were in good condition and the pace of play was pretty quick!

This course has been there since 1929. Some of the trees are enormous and make for beautiful setting. On this day the pace of play was great and course conditions were excellent. One of the closest courses to downtown Raleigh, which on the downside you have to deal with traffic at the parking entrance and exit that can be really bad.

Like this course but was disappointed in quality of greens. Front nine were not bad considering they aerated a week or so ago, but the back nine, the greens were horrible. Looked like they were diseased and had huge holes (not from aeration) all over the greens. They could have placed the pins away from some of the diseased areas on some of the greens but they didn’t. Go figure? Pace of play was great. Teed off at 10:30 and walked off course at 2:10. Mightbtry it again in a few months in the hopes they tend to the damaged greens or learn to place pins in better locations.

RGA presented many challenges and opportunities. Particularly the back. 9. Greens were in good shape considering the amount of rain they have experienced. I can't wait to return when the fairways fill in.

The greens are under going aeration. Outside of that a great place to play golf.

I enjoyed playing at RGA in Raleigh NC. It is challenging enough, but not to the point where it is no fun for the average & above average golfer. The course drains well even with all of the rain that we have had.

The greens are a bit bumpy, especially number 11. All in all though, and given it's January, the course was in pretty good condition.

Great staff. Play is SLOW. Fairways don't look like much but you can get decent compression. Greens are good if they place the pin where there's bare spots.

RGA is an old, short course. lots of holes have charm and character, especially the first 13. greens had decent pace, but there are problem areas and some weeds. Fairways and rough were decent, just a little long. Played in just under 3 hrs.

if you are an accomplished golfer, expect to score. Its an nice walk and fun to play once and awhile

Cart paths very rough in spots. No pavement.

Many greens had crabgrass growing in them. Shame on you. THis is a mortal sin at a golf course. All else was good. But please give this course some tender loving care.
