There is not one negative thing I can say about this course, and I’ve played this course dozens of times.
Great day
Course in excellent shape tee to green. Gave up on 15th hole due to thunder and rain. Had a drink in clubhouse and caught up with my partner. Weather passed and we were able to finish. Great day overall

Course was great
The course was in really good condition and the staff was really friendly. Pace of play was surprisingly quick this round which was nice for a change!

Excellent greens - Slow pace
Greens are very nice. Good fairways. Pace of play is slow but still an enjoyable time.

Great course but should be!
It is a great course very well-maintained great staff but it should be for the cost to play and I don’t say that to be negative. It’s just how it is. For those that find it difficult to meet ends it’s an expensive golf course

Better call to see what's going on at the course before you tee off
The course is in great shape.
However, there were a lot of kids there playing (walking) which is fine. I asked to tee off on the back 9 so the two groups of kids could play with each other and it would not be someone between them until I was allowed to play through. Nope, had to tee off and wait to play through eventually when I caught up after 4 holes. (I would call prior to arrival to see how crowded and what activities are going on)
Only got to play the front 9 due to weather. The course will not issue a rain check due to prepaid with GN. GolfNow was very helpful in making sure I was taking care of afterward.
Very crowded course, other golfers on the course are very friendly and likes to link up together to play so it's not 4 singles all other the course

Course was in good condition
Course was in good condition and the staff were pretty friendly this time. The pace of play is always the drawback of this course. We had to wait 10-15 minutes in between each hole because the course was so backed up. At one par 5, a group was on the green, a group was waiting to lay up to the green, a group was on the tee box, and 2 groups waiting after them to see off. That’s crazy

Course is in great condition
Fairways and greens are in excellent conditions and the whole place is really well maintained.

Only play it if you’re desperate and have no other options
This course is way too cramped, too crowded, and too rough to make for an enjoyable round. At any given moment you can see four or five greens and tee boxes from any point on the golf course, that’s how small and cramped it is. To make matters worse, the greens are very tiny and the fairways are in rotten shape. To add insult to injury, the female staff in the snack bar was rude and seemingly ‘bothered’ to serve customers. You should save your time/money and look for options elsewhere, if you spend over $20 for the round you have made a big mistake. (It would be better to play a decent course with recently aerated greens than this course... that’s how strongly I feel about it)

Granted the rain lately has helped but the conditions of this course not just the greens but the fairways today were absolutely impeccable! This is a well maintained golf course and reasonably priced for the quality. In fact; very reasonably price for the quality!

Very Good Condition
WilMar is putting in a new set of back tees that will play around 6,150 yds. The fairways are in great condition considering the recent heat. Greens are still recovering from aeration but should be nice in another week. The sand in the traps was very compacted from recent rains.
Overall, the course is in very good condition and always fun to play.

Much improved!
This was my second round at Wil-Mar. After my first round, I was critical of the greens for being shaggy and slow, and found the pace of play to be horrendous -- six hours that day.
I'm happy to report vast improvements on both of those fronts. The greens were in terrific shape, helped along no doubt by some hot dry weather.
The pace of play was better, but could still use work. We finished in about four and a half hours. But the number of players on the course was half what it was on my previous visit -- perhaps because of the heat (record-setting), perhaps because it was a holiday weekend.
We're definitely going back -- the layout is quirky but interesting and fun (and not too challenging), and the greens now seem to be in great shape. Fair warning: They are hard to read. Be sure to look from more than one angle.
