Great course, friendly staff, it was in a very nice shape.

Great shape. Challenging layout. Would highly recommend playing this course especially at the price we played it for ($25).

Picked up great rate on GN for this course to play with spouse who is a max handicap player. Maybe it was the overall beauty of this course or the fresh NC air but she played the best round of her life...and I really LOVED this course! It has everything a golfer could want...long forced carries, challenging pin placements, FAST greens with lots of breaks etc.

Staff made us feel very welcome and our starter gave us lots of pointers in our pre-departure brief. Had originally been slated to play with another couple but were given the option to play as separate twosomes which we chose. (Glad we did since other group played a LOT slower than we would have enjoyed) Starter then smiled and said, "First tee is across the street, par 5 600+ yards for the men...good luck and have fun!" What a way to start...and we had a BLAST!

Course plays longer than scorecard indicates and will challenge even the lowest of handicap players. When we caught up with earlier foursome, they quickly let us play through without any hesitation. (Thank you gents!)

Very picturesque course (10th hole from tee box is stellar example) that shouldn't be missed if visiting the Southern Pines area IMHO. Also if you get the chance, head to the Southern Pines Brewery (5 minutes away) to wind down after your round. Highly recommended by staff at course and worth the drive.

Lots of hills and bunkers ...lots of fun. Beautiful setting.

The course provided a great round despite the fact the greens are in need of repair. I look forward to playing here again.

Layout is great, fair and challenging at the same time. Staff is very friendly. Biggest concern is the condition of the greens; they are very poor and inconsistent. There is a rumor they will be replacing them with one of the hybrid bermuda grasses in the future. The Pig-pickin event that goes with a group package there is poorly planned with little thought put into what happens when it rains. Love the layout and staff, but improvements better come soon if they want to keep our business!

Had to wake up the llamas as we weny by. :-) A few bumpy/recovering greens but overall nice place to play.

Great course with the most unique fans, the llamas..just be wary they are spitting snipers!

I play golf all around the US and mainly at Myrtle Beach, but Talamore is one of the best curses that I have ever played. Would recommend that everyone play this course at least once. My family and I will be back!

Great course for the money. Very nice facilities and the staff very friendly.

Played at noon behind two groups, we mover right along.tees and fairways were in very good shape.Greens were soft and held every thing. Pro shop staff friendly and accommodating. Very enjoyable afternoon of golf

My wife and I played a very enjoyable round. The conditions were excellent and the staff friendly and courteous. The course was challanging , but very playable. A great golfing value. We will be back.

The course is hillier than most in the Pinehurst area, with lots of moguls and bunkers lining the fairways and at the greens. Fairways were in good shape, but greens were not.
Fun course overall.

This course has a very nice layout, the greens suffered from some winter kill, but they still putt nicely and quick. Fairways and tee boxes in top notch shape and the staff was very friendly and accommodating as our tee time through GN did not appear on the sheet when we checked in, but still honored the GN rate. The only negative was all tee times had been pushed back and the pace of play was around 5-6 hours.

The greens were not in good shape. Needed some work. Overall layout was good

Been paying Talamore for more than 15 years and conditions were worst I've experienced there. Collars recently resodded so rough and shaggy, greens filled with bare spots, wet fairway areas from drainage problems. Won't be back anytime soon. Spend your money at Legacy not far away.

Choose the correct tee box to get the most enjoyment out of your round. Course is challenging yet fair. Will play this again when I am in Pinehurst. Great value for the area and pace of play was very good

The course was in good condition, however, some of the greens had blight on some of the surfaces. Greens were bumby (not overly so). Tee to green was in good condition. Pace of play good. Brother played with me - he got his first Hole-in-One on I think #6, too bad I wagered him, he shot excellent. Started was good, clubhouse good. Was getting ready to play Pinehurst #4 and #2 over the weekend needed a good priced similiar course set-up, this worked.

My friend and I played the blue tees and the course was in good shape, it has been in better shape but we've had a lot of rain lately. Was definitely worth the $39 that golf now sold it for. Our pace of play was great it took us three and a half hours to play 18 holes.
