About
Winding Creek Golf Club in Thomasville is an 18-hole municipal course that is one of the most affordable rounds in the area. It is a regulation-length layout that measures 6,367 yards from the tips. The design is a true target-golf test that is player friendly enough for beginners but will also challenge more advanced players. The golf course is perched atop one of the highest points in Davidson County. From elevated tees and greens you can enjoy dramatic views as well as some intimidating shots. It's a golf course that will most likely have you using every club in your bag. Though there is plenty of variety, the course isn't too formidable for high handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Winding Creek also has a putting green and driving range that you can use for warming up.

Golfer Reviews
Played on Thursday which was 3rd day of rain in Triad, so carts on path, but course was in terrific shape. Just a really nice golf course to play and a great price for the value too. Thank you Winding Creek for keeping golf affordable!
T’was once a landfill, but you can’t tell by the course conditions. Quality of the course, amenities, etc. plus the price? Can’t beat it. There’s a dozen other public courses around the area that charge double for the same or just slightly better course conditions etc. and don’t bring in half as much revenue as this place. TAKE NOTE!
Value
One of the best bang for your buck courses anywhere.
Great Course, is a must play.
First time playing Winding Creek, and we drove about an hour to get to the course, but I must say our group was pleasantly surprised how nice it was and really enjoyed the layout. On the 18th hole, we were all saying we will come back again for sure. Truly a fun course to play.
Winding Creek is in excellent shape, probably best I have seen it. Nice practice facilities with range and now chipping green with bunker practice too. Very friendly staff as well. Only negative is pace of play, just too many tee times in a short period of time, but overall a very good golf course.
Great Open Course
The course layout is great! Lots of room and rolling hills! Looks like the ground crew take great of the course. Will be back.
Thanks
I would like to thank the staff for pairing me up with the nicest group of young folks. They were considerate and welcoming to their group.
Not A Course Issue
The course is managed and maintained the best that they can. Its patrons however, do not take good care of their course. Divots and ball marks on greens are not repaired by the players. Traps are not raked after getting out. Not all folks who play here respect the maintenance of the course.
