We enjoyed this nice course
The front nine is fairly easy. The back nine has blind shots and very hilly on holes #14 and #16. Many walkers were out, but they did allow players with carts to play through in my case anyway. The greens were nice. It is a course that can make you feel good shooting a round in the 70's.
Great conditions!
Overall great course for the money, if you need par 3 practice it’s for you. Very short course with a par of 68. The only thing bad to say is there is no Marshall so the pace is garbage we felt rushed the whole front 9. But the greens are fantastic and the fairways are clean cut. Great value course
Some players were very rude, inconsiderate,un professional. One guy had his lady partner tee off from the tee box.Not able to hit more than 20 yards.Taking 10 shots in the fairway while everyone behind just watching this circus. No golf Etiquette at all.On the course is not for practicing.Like to see the course in force the rules..
Fun course
Other than the course being excavated to put in new irrigation system was fun. reminded me of Caddyshack.
Fun course
Even though they were upgrading sprinkler system, course was in good shape. Friendly check in and thoroughly explained how the construction will affect our round. Will definitely play this course again!
Slow Play
Need Ranger to regulate pace of play. Quit after 9 holes because course was so backed up and play so slow.
Great mountain course
Very narrow course, really challenging at times, par 5s are fun because they are reachable in 2 for an average player. Greens were in excellent shape this round
Tried the course, never coming back
My wife and I trying different courses in the Asheville/Greenville, SC area. We went here on a cold day and received an equally cold reception from the woman in the pro shop who checked us in. Without saying hello or welcome, she slaps a scorecard down in front and circles the holes that we are allowed to play that day. (1-5, 7-9 & 18). No apologies or explanation and since we had prepaid, they already had our money. She handed me a key and pointed to some carts parked outside. We played and had a pretty decent time, there were only a few other groups on the course. The fairways were in decent shape as were the greens. I cold tell that if there are a lot of players on the course, the chances of being hit by a stray ball are pretty high. Looking around there appeared to be no place to have a coffee or a drink or to just sit around in the clubhouse. The whole vibe on the course was that the employees in the pro shop thought they were doing us a favour just by talking to us. My wife hit a ball into a creek and an employee helped her fish it out so kudos to that gentleman. Oh and the capper was that I turned the cart in and lost a thermos we had brought. I admit, it may have fallen out which would have been my fault. But, it was the perfect capper to a downer of a day.
