Lake Junaluska Golf Course

I have played this course since I was in my teens and this was by far the best conditions I have ever played. It is really a world of difference from when I first started playing golf. It is no Augusta National but it is a fun track to play with interesting holes. I’ll keep coming back when I visit family.

We play here often and the pace of play is usually great. Today was special as my wife got her first hole-in-one on hole number 5.

Don’t even bother. It is a shade better than a university run per 3 course.

Good course for the money. Cart paths and signs to next hole could use some improvement. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were decent, under going some sanding when we played, but did not deter from the putting. Friendly staff. I will play again.

This is a fun little course but they are reseeding the tees. They have temporary tees in front of the regular tees and there was not a level place to hit from all day. TEEOFF should have noted this during booking!

Sorry, but the back 9 is the worst layout we've ever seen in 30+ yrs.. Wish I'd taken photos, you play thru power lines down narrow fairway!! Pace of play was horrendous. Got a "deal" on toff but not worth it.

Staff was very helpful. Course was in very good conditions. Green roll true and very smooth.

No food or beer on site.

Blind corners can lead to some dangerous situations especially considering the bad pace of play.

You can end up in the fairway but you may be laying in mud or just tall grass - absolutely no real course maintenance.

Overpriced for what you get.

Some seriously strange hole layouts that can make it confusing.

I've played all over the world and this is a top 3 worst courses I've ever played.

Overall good value for a pretty nice place. Greens were in great condition!

Always enjoy playing there, it’s got some very interesting holes that’s for sure.

On 7/15/22 the course was way over book for a 8am start. I started play at 8:01 am at 11:30 am I left after just playing 7 holes …

Played day before July 4th. Course play had a perfect pace. Greens were well cared for and rolled true. Excellent value! Highly recommend..

Junaluska is a mediocre golf course, with a poor layout and poor pace of play unless it’s empty. I am local and only play here when I have time and no other choice. The staff that are there are usually friendly, but they seem always understaffed and not prepared for the day. The course is short, but horribly laid out with some goofy holes and some dangerous holes.

2nd best score of my life though. It was fun to play.

Little slow got behind to groups with small children learning to play so it took 10/15 minutes to tee off on every hole after the 3rd… but hey they paid to play too… so all in all it was a great day!
