We love this course. The people there are fantastic and the staff are always fun and have a great attitude. The back nine has an odd layout but again we’re big fans of the lake!
Frustrated
20.00 for my wife to ride in the cart with me. I felt that this was too much considering that I was going to have the cart weather she went or not.
Fair Course, Frustrating Experience
The course was in fair condition, with some rough spots in the fairways and fringe that could use attention. Unfortunately, the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
Our twosome was paired with two other players (who were great). Despite being cart-path only, the course stacks tee times and then pressures groups to play faster than is reasonable. We played ready golf, took minimal practice swings, and didn’t lose or look for any balls—yet the marshal followed our group for several holes, repeatedly harassing us about pace of play.
To make matters worse, while standing on the green on the back nine, a ball from the group behind landed about a foot from me. The marshal witnessed it and did nothing.
If you’re looking for a relaxing, enjoyable round of golf, this probably isn’t the course for you.
Great value
Course is in great shape, including greens. Challenging for golfers of all levels.
Great course. Hit em straight (narrow)
Great course about 30 minutes from Harrah's casino. I played Sequoya Mountain last time out, but this was great course great staff, and great greens. I will not compare it to Sequoya because I think they are just 2 different courses. Good times! Also, they give you the option to play 9, if you don't have the time for 18
Wonderful little mountain course.
This is a wonderful little mountain golf course. The course was in excellent condition. The only thing better than the condition of the course was the staff from everyone in the pro shop to the maintenance staff. Everyone wanted to make sure we had a great experience. Just an fyi unfortunately they don’t have a driving range. They do have a putting green next to the first t box. Most of the fairways are wide but there are plenty of challenges on this course. I recommend this course and had a great experience. Can’t wait to get back to North Carolina in September to play this golf course again.
Great course for the price
Very beginner friendly course, grass is always immaculate and the holes are definitely unique and a good enough challenge for all players. Only downside is the back nine is a very strange lay out but it makes for an interesting round
Some really weird holes
14 through the power line goal posts and 16 hitting wedge to drive the green from 280. Just crazy!
