Pleasant Surprise
We didn't know what to expect since it is a public municipal golf course, but were pleasantly surprised to find a very nice layout that was in excellent condition. Our only gripe was a very slow FIVESOME ahead of us. WHY would course management allow a fivesome to hold up play?
The layout was very good, with a nice mixture of holes of varying length and design. There were enough elevation changes to keep things interesting. Course conditions were excellent -- flat tees, healthy fairways, groomed bunkers, smooth greens. Friendly staff. All good. Just get rid of fivesomes and slow players.
Best place to develop
This course is a great place to develop a new golfer. my son loves it here. I love practicing here and truly working on my game.
NICE COURSE
Played this course for years with my son. It’s not too challenging for some, but for me, it’s VERY CHALLENGING, but fun to play. Especially hole 18.
Typical slow play due to 5 somes.
To make matters worse: two 5 somes back to back ! Created a “log jam” by hole # 7. Four groups waiting at tee box on #10. We raised a white flag and left. Another 2 some, father/son gave up and left also. Understand an occasional 5 some but it is more than occasional at Wedgewood.
Guy at the front desk
The guy at the front desk was having an attitude because I was playing by myself. He said that if it was a weekend I would not be able to play alone. He still made me play with someone else. Horrible people skills. Not coming back.

The course was in very good condition! Liked the way they redid greens # 7, 9, 16 and 18 ….good job 👏🏻👏🏻 The pace of play was excellent for the time we played…apparently we hit it just right 🤷♂️
Golf Course Closed - No automatic refund from GolfNow
This is the second time I have booked a round with Golfnow where upon my arrival at the golf course I was told that the course was closed and they had already notified Golfnow. No cancellation of my tee time on Golfnow or refund from them. Why isn't it automatically done when they are notified? Now I have to fight with them about it when it should be automatic. Get with it!
Staff does outstanding job of keeping the coarse in good shape especially considering the amount of daily play .
A good outing. Only exception is commonly groups of 5 that tend to impact the pace of play.

Great course for the money. Fun to play. Greens were a little rough & hard but rolled pretty good. Staff was really friendly. Pace of play was slow about 41/2 hours to complete round (2 golfers)
Excellent Course
Excellent course for a quick round during the week.
Great course, excellent value
My husband and I always enjoy playing this course. It’s the best public course and I would say it rivals some semi, private courses. Very forgiving, well maintained, nice layout with some challenging holes. Also love the fact that they have the pink tees for us senior women or ladies who just don’t hit the ball as far or are just starting out. Would highly recommend this course and you just can’t beat the price!
