Nice
Best course for the money in area. Good practice an warm up areas.
Golf at Wedgewood CC
First time this year I played Wedgewood CC. The course looked better than I had ever seen it. Weather was beautiful and the pace of play was great. Highly recommend…
Great course, awkward layout
This was a great course, and for the money I don't think you'll find a better one in the area.
Tee boxes and greens were well maintained. Rough was slightly longer than fairways, so you could actually tell a difference. It was still short enough that you could play out of it. Only a few patches of dirt in either fairways or rough.
Greens are about to undergo maintenance, but despite that were still in good condition.
A few rocks in the bunkers, but all of them were playable. Sand was consistent from one hole to the next.
Only negatives are the layout is somewhat awkward and the food options are limited. The 9th hole turns away from the clubhouse, forcing you to play 10 & 11 before returning to the parking lot. The 11th green is more visible from the 9th fairway than the green you're supposed to be hitting towards.
When I did stop at the turn, there was no option for the usual hot food (chicken tenders, hot dogs, burgers, etc.) offered at most of the other courses I play. All they had were pre-packed sandwiches, chips, candy bars, and other snack foods similar to a gas station.
What they do offer is a good driving range that runs along the first fairway, and a short game practice area about 300 yards from the clubhouse (you drive past it on your way into the parking lot)>

This course is always in great shape, T-times are flexible. However, it does seem to be overbooked with slow paced groups who seem to think that they’re allowed a mulligan on EVERY hole, especially the back nine. But, I like this course and will continue to play.
Girlfriend couldn’t play
Paid for 2, typically it’s busy. Showed up 20 mins before Tee time and ranger was up my butt every 2 mins asking where my partner was. She was on time and still felt like we were being rushed. Group behind us was hitting balls at us on green so my girlfriend gave up trying to even play off my ball! Ridiculous and rude. Too bad the ranger wasn’t around when this was occurring.
Great course for the money
Wonderful value. However, two foursomes in front of us that knew each other were wasting our time socializing too much between the two foursomes. Also, a threesome behind us hit up on us three times; that’s not the way to deal with slow play…and it wasn’t us they were waiting on anyway. The course needs a marshal or at least an advertised means of contacting o e regarding poor play behaviors.
Beautifully kept course.
Brady & his staff are first class. The course was is excellent condition.

home course
Great course and great day for golf. Weather was perfect and was paired up with some young teachers.
Pleasant surprise.
Excellent course for the price and affordable golf is getting scarcer. Fairways a bit fluffy and greens hinda grainy but very playable for a relaxed round. I'd like to play again before I leave town.
Great value for playing 18
The fairways and greens were in very nice condition. Due to the heavy rains most sandtrap were packed down sand with water in them. The fairways are generous which enhances quick play. A great golfing value for your money.
Like the course
