Had a golf itch and booked a 3:50pm tee time. Only saw a few other golfers as I only played 9 holes today. Wonderful experience as I did not feel rushed and played well also.
Don’t waste your money
Club pro is a quack the only one that is nice is the lady working the register. If you have crab grass in your backyard then you might have better conditions.. Don’t even waste $20
VALUE
We drove an hour as our course was closed for a tournament, but the price was right! Hardly anyone on on the front and we played in 90 minutes. We caught a couple of twosomes on the back, but still totaled about 3 1/4 hours. Fairways were fine, greens slow, traps good on half the holes . No doglegs on the front.
Bad shape
I played this course for years. This is the worst it's ever been. Sad to see it in such bad shape! Greens are terrible, bunkers are like bricks & barely a fairway! Won't be back! Not even if it's cheap!
Ain’t what it used to be!
I’ve played this course many times in the past but will not go back. Course is in poor shape, pace of play was terrible & it’s really going to take a lot of work to get it back.
I am mind blown that this course has 4 stars.
This course is in the worst shape I have ever seen in a golf course. There is no maintenance that takes place other than cutting the fairway grass. The greens are 90% sand all year round, the fairways are basically dirt painted green. Everything is a tight lie. The sand is concrete and the tee boxes look like woodland and are so hard they will break your tees. If there was another golf course in Wilson other than Wedgewood (they have a lot of tournaments there) I would assume no one would play here except for the members they’ve had for 20 years. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. This course is basically land with flag sticks on one section of cut grass.
Willow Springs
Course is a nice layout but course conditions are fair at best. The country club needs an update and remodel but I am sure would be very expensive. For the money it was fun.
