About
The public, 18-hole golf course at Brigantine Golf Links is not only beautiful scenery and a great game it is also a National Audubon Sanctuary. Its layout has roots in Scottish golfing tradition. The golf course utilizes the natural environment featuring a softly rolling terrain and marshes as well as gorgeous bay views.
Like traditional Scottish Links courses, Brigantine is marked by nearly tree-less greens and the type of shot to take often depends on the wind. There are powerful sea breezes that affect the shots and bunkers that make for an interesting game. The smooth, rolling greens encourage a bump-and-run strategy. The scenic course's location close to the Atlantic City boardwalk and the challenging, but fun game it offers make it popular among tourists and locals of all skill levels.

Fun course to play
This is a fun course to play. The greens are supurb. Fairways are improving as the grass starts to grow this spring. Maintenance folks are out making numerous improvements to tees, bunkers, and certain fairway areas. A lot of brush has been removed. I would like to see more of the long fescue in some rough ares to grow and make the course even more of a traditional links. But this would slow down play which is normally very good. A foursome can play it in 3 1/2 hours
Brigantine
Always a fun course. I play it mostly in the winter so that must be factored into my review. Welcoming, challenging, and fun.
Great greens - but, that's all
The greens are shockingly good when compared to the rest of the course. The bunkers were also in good shape - filled with plenty of real sand.
The tee boxes are patchy and not level. However, they are working on a couple of them (leveling and re-sodding). The fairways also need work. The rough is non-existent. Lots of of hard pan.
The layout is not bad, but nothing special.
A decent course for working on your wind game, but not in same league as several other courses in the area.
Nice course
Course was fun but challenging open fairways so miss hits aren't always lost but water sneaks up in some places hat you can't see from tee box or fairways so make use of the cloud guide if your not used to layout Portapotties along the course. Pro shop and grill room staff was super friendly. Was a great day and will def play again when in AC.
On the way to AC
Course is coming along . For mid march greens were decent ,overall course was ok , and not a bad stop if u want to play a round before losing your money in AC. The course is right by the ocean / bay so if the wind is up it will eat u up .
Always an enjoyable experience at the Links
Each year we vacation with very dear friends in Brigantine and each year I play at least one of two rounds that week at the Brigantine Links. Last year I played two rounds. The course was in very good condition and challenging because it is a true links style course. Each hole is very different and though there are homes on some holes, they don't come into play. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the course attracts a friendly and patient group of golfers lending itself to a great experience for our less experienced sons to continue to develop their game. Recommend!
Great course, even better staff
The course is a great Links-style course that is very close to AC. You'll enjoy the course, that's not why I'm writing a review. The reason I'm reviewing it is because of the staff. Nathan, the GM, has always been incredibly accommodating when my buddies and I have wanted to play in a tournament there. And their regular staff is always very accommodating as well. I can't say enough good things about this place. Go there and have fun.
No wind that day...
We played the island course on a cloudy, but calm winter day.
I was surprised that we were pretty much by ourselves.
The couse winds around a housing development but gives plenty of room for erant shots.
It's a good layout with plenty of variety. I look forward to returning.

Nice Relaxing Holiday Round of Golf
Picked up a last minute tee time, hooked up with a twosome (nice people)... The ball did not fly far but definitely rolled on the hard pan making the course play a bit easier than normal!!

Nice Round of Golf
We arrived early and the pro shop let us out without any problem. We were behind a couple of groups but they were fairly quick. The course was just aerated but we knew that before going. The rough was a little sparse but it is October. Overall a very relaxing round a a big thank you to the clubhouse for letting us out early and not pairing us up.

Nice Layout but course needs some TLC
For the money this was not a bad deal, the layout is not too bad and was challenging enough, but the course condition was not very good.. Lots of weeds, bare spots, etc on fairways and tee boxes. Greens were generally in pretty good shape.

Great value at the shore
I really like playing the Links at Brigantine. It is a great layout, challenging but very fair. The greens and fairways are in great shape. The rough was a little sparse probably due to lack of rain. Otherwise it would get a 5 for course condition. There are some very good courses down the shore and this course is as good as any of them.

Wet but fun
Great time. Course was wet do to heavy rain that morning. Other than standing water, course played well. Greens were firm and ran well

Lot's of homes on and around course. Plenty of entertainment with a variety of different music and family activities taking place
Thank goodness for the ocean winds- Green head Flies were everywhere
Course fairways were at best average, very a very playable course.

Great fun course
I had a great time playing, the greens were in super condition the fairways were decent bunkers were OK but hopefully there's a breeze when he play because the green heads were horrible but all in all a nice course .
