Brigantine Golf Links
About
The public, 18-hole golf course at Brigantine Golf Links is not only beautiful scenery and a great game it is also a National Audubon Sanctuary. Its layout has roots in Scottish golfing tradition. The golf course utilizes the natural environment featuring a softly rolling terrain and marshes as well as gorgeous bay views.
Like traditional Scottish Links courses, Brigantine is marked by nearly tree-less greens and the type of shot to take often depends on the wind. There are powerful sea breezes that affect the shots and bunkers that make for an interesting game. The smooth, rolling greens encourage a bump-and-run strategy. The scenic course's location close to the Atlantic City boardwalk and the challenging, but fun game it offers make it popular among tourists and locals of all skill levels.

Swollen elbow from mosquito bites Photo submitted by khatchad on 08/19/2019
the course shopuild be closed under the condition like it was.
It was water puddles all over and whole ground were so socking wet including fairway and green. It was so much birds drops, drops and drops all over the fairway.
We skipped the 1st and 2nd holes and we tried the 3rd and 4th on the wet. But the birds drops so bad it was like a nightmare.
So we just ride to check the lest of the holes in the first half.
It was all same and we didn't even look the second half.
We come home and washed all our fits. I wished the management have prudent business mind.
The course was short and played nicely.
The course was short but challenging in certain holes. I expected some views of the bay, but there were none. Most of the holes were in the midst of housing developments. The staff was very friendly.
This is a course not to play during the winter months.
There was little evidence of any maintainence on the golf course. The course had large amounts of goose and duck droppings on a lot of the fairways. Compared to other courses in the area the fairways were in poor condition.
Course was hit hard by Sandy, boat on 2nd hole. still a nice round
course was damaged in storm, still had debris on a number of holes, boat in play on 2nd hole. still nice late November round, excellent value.
Close to Casinos. Decent little course.
Overbooked public course leads to excruciatingly slow play. Course layout is OK, enough challenge to keep your interest but not the prettiest course in the area. Crowded conditions and lots of blind shots led to groups behind hitting into us more than once. Not recommended as a great golf experience but it is close to the Casinos and relatively cheap.
Great Pin placements
Have always enjoyed playing here, especially in the fall when the Green Head Flys aren't around. Glad the City saved it from the Developers.
Very nice course.
Liked everything about the course with the exception of pace of play. DO NOT play here on a Saturday. They have a lot of bachelor parties, much drinking and SLOW play. We were there over 5 hours before we decided to blow off the last 3 holes. As we rode past them we saw how backed up they were, would have taken at least an hour more.
very slow pace of play
course is nice pace of play is bad teed off at 12:25 and could not finish 18 holes due to pace of play told the ranger and he just laugh at us had people waiting to tee off when the other four some or threesome was on the greens
links nice
this is a nice course the gps on the carts are a nice touch and also help to speed up the game! bring your bug spray as we did and you will have a better round nice setting a lot of marsh.
Real links
I like this course. Has interesting par 3's and short par 5's you can attack. If the wind is blowing it can be a test, but usually this course yields good scores. They could be friendlier in the club house.
Glad I got there, don't need to get there again...
Played the Links for the first time in mid-August. The course was really wet from over-watering and chewed up. It was an exceptionally windy day, but evidently 25 mph wind is a regular expectation on this course. The course is pretty short, and winds around the houses quite a bit. I always try to enjoy myself out there, so it's not like I had a terrible time... but I certainly don't need to head back anytime soon.
Very tight course.
Very wet, windy and some greenheads when me n my buddy went.Seemed like it would be a great course when dry. The layout through the house was kinda cool but need to have good control with your shot. Imo not for beginners.
