The public, 18-hole golf course at Brigantine Golf Links is not only beautiful scenery and a great game it is also a National Audubon Sanctuary. Its layout has roots in Scottish golfing tradition. The golf course utilizes the natural environment featuring a softly rolling terrain and marshes as well as gorgeous bay views.

Like traditional Scottish Links courses, Brigantine is marked by nearly tree-less greens and the type of shot to take often depends on the wind. There are powerful sea breezes that affect the shots and bunkers that make for an interesting game. The smooth, rolling greens encourage a bump-and-run strategy. The scenic course's location close to the Atlantic City boardwalk and the challenging, but fun game it offers make it popular among tourists and locals of all skill levels.

Very nice course.

Liked everything about the course with the exception of pace of play. DO NOT play here on a Saturday. They have a lot of bachelor parties, much drinking and SLOW play. We were there over 5 hours before we decided to blow off the last 3 holes. As we rode past them we saw how backed up they were, would have taken at least an hour more.

Real links

I like this course. Has interesting par 3's and short par 5's you can attack. If the wind is blowing it can be a test, but usually this course yields good scores. They could be friendlier in the club house.

Glad I got there, don't need to get there again...

Played the Links for the first time in mid-August. The course was really wet from over-watering and chewed up. It was an exceptionally windy day, but evidently 25 mph wind is a regular expectation on this course. The course is pretty short, and winds around the houses quite a bit. I always try to enjoy myself out there, so it's not like I had a terrible time... but I certainly don't need to head back anytime soon.

Very tight course.

Very wet, windy and some greenheads when me n my buddy went.Seemed like it would be a great course when dry. The layout through the house was kinda cool but need to have good control with your shot. Imo not for beginners.
