Very nice course. Cart path only today — I am not quite sure why. The ground was not saturated at all. Pace of play was bad and that is being kind. No starter no ranger and it was mostly twosomes. Which at nine holes it was 3 hrs.
Solid east side course
Course was in pretty good shape for the time of year (temps in the upper 80’s with little to now rain) some spots of stress but all in all fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Some troubled tee boxes and bunkers around but nothing that should stop anyone from checking it out. Living on the west side it was over an hour drive for me and I’m not disappointed making the trip but it wasn’t enough to make me wanna run right back there. Solid course to mix in every now and then. Good to also see new black top paths being done also. Check it out if your on the east side of Cleveland but won’t be mad if you traveled a bit.
Couldn't believe they had no sandwiches...no hot dog... nothing but....chips and nuts
....lol....I am not a bird.....I need something to eat after 9 Holes....how hard is it to make a big batch of chicken salad....or hot dogs.... sausage....or brats.... but they will sell you beer on an empty stomach
Changed up our order
I signed up to play the Lake/River course. Without notice, upon arrival, they stuck us on the Lake/Maple. The Maple course if a glorified par 3. They had a golf outing and needed the course cleared. This was not a last minute thing. There was no disclosure and it’s deceiving of them to so do. All year the course has been doing things like this.
Back after 4 years in Florida like I never left
Grumpy employees and cart path only with absolutely destroyed cart paths, other than that this course is an absolute treat
Great Course and Staff!!! But.......
The golf course is always in Great shape. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The one negative that I have about this course is the cart paths. It really makes no sense that a course of this caliber and price would have such awful paths. The condition of the paths have been bad for years and getting worse.
Please Fix!!!!!!
Interesting layout with nice greens
The good: nice layout with nice fairways and greens that roll great.
The bad: very wet conditions and slow play due to cart path only. Cart paths are in disrepair with large ruts and potholes.
Staff essentially non-existent. No response to call for a replacement cart when it died on the 12th hole.
Bottom line: nice course, but play at your own risk.

the course was great i can't say enough good things about it .my only criticism was that the cart paths need a little work other than that this course was top notch!
Best public course in Geauga County
Pete Dye masterpiece hidden in Geauga County. Layout and condition's are perfect but beware of the pot holes on the cart paths!
Great track that needs some TLC
Golf course still plays fantastically! However cart paths are in dire need of repair, snack bar shouldn’t be closed at 2pm on a 90 degree day and little things this course used to excel at have gone away. Overall, the course is still fun and challenging and is still a premiere public layout.
Would love to play again soon
Course is in great shape. Played 7/9. Day after some good rain. But course was solid shape. Nice and green. Not really a bad area on the course. Good variety of holes.
