About
The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club consists of two award-winning courses called the East and the West. Located 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, these public golf courses provide a challenging game and have been touted by many New Jersey publications as the best 18-hole course on the Jersey Shore.
Each golf course had a different designer so they do have some differences. The West Course is relatively flat with narrow fairways and fast greens. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The East Course on the other hand features wide fairways and difficult bunkers. The East Course also follows a links-style layout and is meant to be played fast and firm. For those who want to play the courses but aren't at the top of their game yet, the club offers golf instruction.

Had so much fun!
I haven't played this course in a few years because I moved out of the area. It is in great shape!. My friend and I had so much fun. The staff here are friendly and professional. This is a great place to play.
Excellent Course
One of my favorite places to play. Staff is always friendly never had anything to complain about other than it's a hours drive from my house but well worth the drive. I love all of the Jaw's courses but Blue Heron is my favorite
Blue Heron
This is one of my Favorite Courses to play. It is great shape everytime we've been there. We teed off at 7:30 + I didn't even see a divot that hadn't been filled in. What a pleasure to play here. The greens roll true + it helped me shot a 77 this time down there. I'll be back!
Ok
Greens were really slow. Looked like the had been treated with something. The group in front of the group in front of us were terribly slow. They backed the course up. Ranger did nothing about it. Took

Average track
Fairways in good condition with many bunkers . Greens were in great shape . Pace on back nine was very slow for a Friday needs rangers to watch
Great golf course!
Really enjoyed this course. Unfortunately had heavy rain the night before and was cart path only, which slowed up play, and they let 5 somes to play as well, which probably didn’t help either?? Someone on 4th hole, trying to sell golf vacations, not a fan of that. Everything else was great and staff really friendly!!
Tee Salesman?
Had a great round minus the 4th hole.
Some used car type salesman giving us a 3 minute pitch on golf vacations and magazine subscriptions in the tee box.
Not for a charity - for this guys profit.
Not appreciated by anyone - BHP can do better than that.

Beautiful, challenging, well kept course. Always a pleasure to play here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back!
Pleasant Surprise
Great conditions! The course is challenging but recoverable. Tee blocks are nice and flat. The fairways are nice to hit from. Putting surface are true. I would definitely play this course over.
