Blue Heron Pines Golf Club
About
The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club consists of two award-winning courses called the East and the West. Located 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, these public golf courses provide a challenging game and have been touted by many New Jersey publications as the best 18-hole course on the Jersey Shore.
Each golf course had a different designer so they do have some differences. The West Course is relatively flat with narrow fairways and fast greens. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The East Course on the other hand features wide fairways and difficult bunkers. The East Course also follows a links-style layout and is meant to be played fast and firm. For those who want to play the courses but aren't at the top of their game yet, the club offers golf instruction.

Great rainy day round!
We played this course on a rainy 46 degree day and still had a great time! This is a beautiful course and the staff is so helpful and friendly! Thanks Blue Heron Pines - we will return!
Mr Charles Shannon
Had not played this course for some time and the Golf Now Hot Deal was too good to pass up. We arrived 20 minutes early and were told at check in to go as soon as we were ready. There was no one outside to give us a cart so we loaded ourselves and played. Great start but then we discovered that leaf removal was apparently done in days and finding any ball on fairway edges was pot luck.
Fall golf
I have played the course in the summer and the course is well maintained. However this round the conditions were very disappointing. The bunkers hadn’t been dressed in a few days. There was no attempt to clear leaves from greens or fairways. Made for a very slow round as ewe had to clear greens for every putt and search for balls hit in the middle of the fairway.
Great Condition
Course was in fantastic shape for early November. Virtually no leaves on the fairways. Th greens were in excellent shape. Cudos to the ground keepers.
Minor complaint was hamburgers, although were pretty good, were not worth $12.
Great place
Everything there is awesome even the staff and golf course are 100% perfect
Great time all the way around
The other 3 out of my group were 2 novice golfers that I was trying to show them a good local course and a beginner that got a call cause someone backed out. With all that going on we had a great time. The course is fun and has its challenges, but nothing that was not enjoyable even for them. Pace of play was perfect. We allowed anyone to play through, which helped but the ranger checked on us just to make sure we weren't holding anyone up. They allowed us to just play. As far as the course. It was in test shape even with the fall aeration startingup on the outsides. The amenities and staff were great too. Everyone from the clubhouse, to the course, to the bar was nice as could be. As far as price I thought was a prettyyyy good deal at $50 for the round. I've paid a lot more for worse.
Beautiful course in great shape!
Gary the starter is a great guy. Very helpful. Got us off early and started us on the back nine to avoid the crowd on #1.
My Blue Heron (take on the movie My Blue Heaven)
It was an absolutely amazing fall morning and from the moment I arrived I knew that the people running this course knew exactly how to provide a fantastic consumer enjoyment. Everyone was so professional and attentive from check in to the starter. The putting green and chipping practice area were beautiful and the course was in excellent condition. I drove 90 minutes to play this course after a friend told me about it and I would again and again and again!!
One of the best
Been there a few times and it was awesome and great people that work there ! Can't wait to go back
