About
The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club consists of two award-winning courses called the East and the West. Located 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, these public golf courses provide a challenging game and have been touted by many New Jersey publications as the best 18-hole course on the Jersey Shore.
Each golf course had a different designer so they do have some differences. The West Course is relatively flat with narrow fairways and fast greens. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The East Course on the other hand features wide fairways and difficult bunkers. The East Course also follows a links-style layout and is meant to be played fast and firm. For those who want to play the courses but aren't at the top of their game yet, the club offers golf instruction.

Nice layout
Course well worth it. Greens nice but a little slow for such a nice track, in my opinion.
Blue Heron Pine great course
Course was challenging and in good condition starters and staff in clubhouse were all great. Was running 15 minutes late on start times by 8:33 but played in 41/2 hrs. A little slow at times. Love the course and will definitely be back
Slowish greens but excellent track
Fun design and solid holes made for a fun day. Definitely will be playing it again
Course is a great layout not to bad on price either.
Everything was great just so many ball marks left on the greens which isn’t the courses fault also took us over 4 hours to finish cause pace of play was pretty slow otherwise thought it was great again will def be back

Have played there before many times , was with 2 people that never played there and they also enjoyed course .
Nice day and course
The day was right for golfing, sun , breezy and no rain. The course was in good shape as per par, the locals say the greens are being over seeded due to the weather., some tan slower.
The transition from front to back through the starter and parking lot area before crossing the street is different
Rained Out
Was rained out for my round, scheduled for 2:30 pm. Phoned and was told there would be a rain delay. Arrived, waited until approx. 3:30 and was told the course would not be opening due to conditions. GN has not offered to refund my booking fee. The course closure was handled adequately by the management.
Course superintendent needs to up his game.
Play this course regularly. Love everything about playing here with friends. Played course 2x in last two weeks and after green aeration things should have improved in last month.
Disappoied as fairways,teeboxes and bunkers and rough were in average to poor shape.
We have had a lot of rain so the greens should have recovered been cut & rolled bur they are bumpy. Hope that with continued cool weather they can get this course back up to expected conditions.
