Little Mountain Country Club
About
Located just 35 minutes from Cleveland, Little Mountain Country Club in Concord is known throughout the area for its bunkers. Deep hardly begins to describe them and they border both the greensides and fairways. Although the cavernous bunkers are challenging, they are strategically placed to provide a challenge for better golfers but there is still ample room for less advanced players. The intimidatingly steep walls go as deep as 20 feet below the putting surface, they are enough to scare even the most seasoned golfers. The layout has diverse mix of holes that require the use of all the clubs in your bag. Little Mountain Country Club finishes with a dramatic par 4 that is one of the golf course's most difficult holes. The five-star-rated Little Mountain is well worth the two-hour drive from Pittsburgh or Columbus.

Scenic, modern course with wide fairways and fast greens.
Little Mountain is one of my favorite courses in the greater Cleveland area. The course is always in good shape, and I like the mix of holes: some are very challenging, yet there are plenty of birdie holes to make up for any mistakes you might make on the tougher ones.
The course will challenge every club in your bag - great test of golf
My only issue with the course was with the grounds crew. Several times while we were on a tee box guys on mowers would be working away full speed ahead and close by. I realize they have to get their work done but I have been to courses where the crew would exercise more etiquette when players were about to hit shots - especially tee shots. Other than that - great course!
Nice Track
Challenging layout. Lots of bunkering but very little sand in them. The course could use n infusion of money but still a great value.
The greens were wonderful, and the speed was consistent. Course was in great shape considering that it rained the previous 3 days and that morning.
Definitely would recommend this course to anyone who truly
enjoys the game of golf and appreciates the beauty of the golf
courses and their design. The layout through this beautiful neighborhood is just breath taking as you try to concentrate on playing golf.
Fine tuning needed
I play Little Mountain a fair amount for its great layout and conditions. I was upset to see several of the many sand traps either with minimal sand or none at all. A wet spring isn't an excuse for a course that charges what they do on weekends. There has to be room in the budget for sand.
Great shape considering weather
Course was in pretty good shape considering all the rain. Most traps were underwater. Greens were good. Play was slow, but it was Fathers Day.
Gorgeous
Great condition. Great staff. Many sets of tees for all skill levels. Perfect greens
What a pretty course.
The course was in great condition, the views are spectacular, and only enhance the way the holes play.
Each hole has a different look and challenge from the last which is where your golf course management comes into play.
Slow play with no rangers in sight to help speed it up. I would watch booking on the weekend if you are tight on time. Plan on an easy 5 hours for 18 holes.
Great layout and great staff
The front nine is fun and an excellent opportunity to score well. The back is long and much more difficult. Weekend pace is always slower but the rangers do a nice job and the drink and food carts are circling in the right areas. Course was in great shape and greens were very good. Thanks to Golfnow and Little Mountain for the $43 weekend rate, a great deal if you ask me.
great, challenging course
excellent layout. fairways and greens were very well maintained. a few of the bunkers were poorly maintained but most were very playable. service staff was excellent. very slow groups ahead of us all day, that's the only knock on the experience. great course and would definitely love to play it again this year
Lush, beautiful course with plenty of challenge.
My round was the day after a three-inch rain, so the course was cart-path only--that made it slow. The course is demanding, but it offers room to land safely. I understand from others that it plays tougher when dry because your shots can run into trouble. The greens were still a little bumpy (and some of them are just impossible). The course is pretty, and it winds through a lot of attractive homes; it is not a walking course because of the distance between some holes. If you hit off the course, your ball is lost in most cases--the terrain really falls away from the course proper, at least in a lot of places.
I really liked the beauty of the course and how lush it was. There was plenty of challenge, but the tips are not a ridiculous length.
Great course all around
Overall the course was in great condition. Great price for such a great course.
Great Local Course
Very nice local course. A little pricy at regular rates but the discounts from here are great. Excellent course conditions with beautiful homes all around. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The course was in the best shape I have ever seen it! I cannot wait to return back
The course had made an amazing turn around from last year. You can tell the effort that they have made to improve all facets of the course. It was hard for me to find anything to negatively critique about Little Mountain CC
The course has a lot of character, fast greens and great scenery.
Although the pace of play was a little slow, the course was very interesting to play. Alot of challenging holes and tough greens for holding approach shots.
Great value!
Course needs some work, pace was slow, friendly staff
Course needs some aintenance as it does not seem to be in as good of shape as last time I was there(2006-2007). Cart girls and Bar staff are very friendly and pleasant.
Challenging course that is real fun to play
I had not played the course in years back when it was private. I returned to find a course that is not as well maintained as it was but still in great condition as compared to a public course. The round was fun but challenging. The one negative is that the bunkers need more sand. It won't make them any easier (they are pits of doom) but will make them a little more playable for soft shots.
Wonderful
We absolutely loved the course. It was in wonderful shape and allowed for a great day of golf!
