Little Mountain Country Club
About
Located just 35 minutes from Cleveland, Little Mountain Country Club in Concord is known throughout the area for its bunkers. Deep hardly begins to describe them and they border both the greensides and fairways. Although the cavernous bunkers are challenging, they are strategically placed to provide a challenge for better golfers but there is still ample room for less advanced players. The intimidatingly steep walls go as deep as 20 feet below the putting surface, they are enough to scare even the most seasoned golfers. The layout has diverse mix of holes that require the use of all the clubs in your bag. Little Mountain Country Club finishes with a dramatic par 4 that is one of the golf course's most difficult holes. The five-star-rated Little Mountain is well worth the two-hour drive from Pittsburgh or Columbus.

A challenging course from tee to green
Fast greens...difficult rough...slow pace on front nine...good value for the money
Great Value for one of the Toughest Courses - Cleveland Aea
Overall the course was in good to very good shape. Fairways are close to Country Club conditions; greens are very fast and give you a true roll; the cart GPS systems are old and not always working. Some of the sand traps need some work i.e. more sand or too many stones etc. Nice area outside the clubhouse to have a small meal and a beer after a round of golf.
course was beautiful,
Challenging bunkers, and greens. Beautiful course and nice clubhouse
not what it use to be
condition of course is disappointing. specifically, greens and bunkers are not in good shape. played here 2 years ago and course was beautiful. it appears that the upkeep of the course has slipped significantly. I paid only $22 for the round, and I would not pay more, if I ever go back.
Nice views.
Overall I was unhappy with the course. There were many holes with forced layups or drop offs where good shots turned out not so good. The greens held nothing, even high wedge shots. I would suggest another set of tees for championships, allowing the blue to play to around 6400.
One Of The Best
One of the best courses in North East Ohio. Very challenging w/ the largest, deepest bunkers you will ever see. Very scenic & fun to play. Must hit the ball straight. Beginners should stay away.
great course for the money
I thought the course was a great value for the price. I would definitely play Little Mountain again for the discounted green fees.
Great course!
Overall course is in good shape. One of the best public courses in Cleveland. Bunkers a little thin with sand.
Private club feel
Variety. That's Little Mountain in one word. You'll hit wedge into one par 3. You'll hit hybrid+ into another. Holes that rise into the distance. Others that roll pretty steeply downward. It's an "every shot in your bag" kind of track.
The one constant is sand. Bunkers everywhere. Many of the greenside ones are 6 feet lower than the putting surface. It's a challenge. Unfortunately, some of those are beginning to show age. Several seemed pretty washed out.
Greens are huge. They roll like lighting. Breaks are subtle.
The course packs them in. Maybe people fall for the Jimmy Hanlan lure. Maybe it's the membership. At our 9:30 Sunday tee, there were players on every hole in sight, which meant pace of play is not all that favorable. Plus, there are many places on the course you just can't get close to with a cart. So you tend to walk a lot.
It's a gem overall. Try it. You'll want to come back.
The course is very interesting, good scenery and beautiful holes.
We had a very enjoyable round of golf. It was a bit slow that day. There was an outing in front of us. We really like the course and the beautiful holes.
Good but not great for $52
For cart path only played in 4 1/2 hours. I was glad to play once. Course was nice, but for $52 the course has to knock my socks off, which it did not do. Bunkers were horrible. Carts girls were out in force. Staff was very nice. An average premimum course. Would play again if I( could get a cheaper price
Nice course....
but needs to pay attention to minor details. Bunkers were beat up, rough was patchy (my fault, should've hit more fairways), just some minor details, Nice holes overall. 5 par three's kind of stinks.
beautiful layout
One of the most scenic, visually appealing courses in area.Challenging layout with most holes surrounded by very deep bunkers.Fairways are beautiful, greens are very fast and nice.Only negatives were several bunkers washed out from recent rains and cart path only made for 5 1/2 hour round.Would highly recommend
this course to anyone who never played here.
Just Great.
Beautiful and Well maintained Course. You can see Lake Erie from a few holes, that's a bonus. Greens were very fast but honest. Not many scary holes but no easy holes either. Back Nines need Distance and the Accuracy. One of the Best Course !
A good time
Really fun layout. Not overly challenging, and definitely not boring. Each hole has character, and the track flows nicely. Lightning greens in good condition. Some of the larger bunkers are in disrepair, and there are a few drainage issues.. Overall though, an excellent value.
Scenic, modern course with wide fairways and fast greens.
Little Mountain is one of my favorite courses in the greater Cleveland area. The course is always in good shape, and I like the mix of holes: some are very challenging, yet there are plenty of birdie holes to make up for any mistakes you might make on the tougher ones.
The course will challenge every club in your bag - great test of golf
My only issue with the course was with the grounds crew. Several times while we were on a tee box guys on mowers would be working away full speed ahead and close by. I realize they have to get their work done but I have been to courses where the crew would exercise more etiquette when players were about to hit shots - especially tee shots. Other than that - great course!
Nice Track
Challenging layout. Lots of bunkering but very little sand in them. The course could use n infusion of money but still a great value.
The greens were wonderful, and the speed was consistent. Course was in great shape considering that it rained the previous 3 days and that morning.
Definitely would recommend this course to anyone who truly
enjoys the game of golf and appreciates the beauty of the golf
courses and their design. The layout through this beautiful neighborhood is just breath taking as you try to concentrate on playing golf.
Fine tuning needed
I play Little Mountain a fair amount for its great layout and conditions. I was upset to see several of the many sand traps either with minimal sand or none at all. A wet spring isn't an excuse for a course that charges what they do on weekends. There has to be room in the budget for sand.
