About
Brunswick Plantation & Golf Resort is a 27-hole layout located in the fishing village of Calabash, North Carolina, abut 20 minutes north of Myrtle Beach.
It has three distinct nines: the Magnolia, Azalea and Dogwood. On all nines, you need to hit the ball straight off the tee, taking care of the fairway bunkers, some of which are fairly high-lipped. The course has quick, bent-grass greens, moderately large, and lush, well-tended fairways set amidst tall, Carolina pines.
On the magnolia course, there are water holes, and the course is heavily mounded and bunkered.

Course was closed
I booked a tee time with golf now for Christmas day and when I got there the golf course was closed for the day.
Beautiful course
Course was in great shape from tee to green. I did see a few bad spots. Well worth playing. Restaurant isn't open before 11am through the week this time of year. Played 2 days and all 27 holes. Course wasn't overly crowded at all. Played in under 3 1/2 hours both days. Hardly seen anyone else on the course. I do recommend this course. Played 12/29 & 12/30/21
Beautiful course
Great course in great condition. The price was awesome. Had to play 2 days to play all 27 holes. I actually booked a tee time for one day and showed up a day early and they got us out without any issues. The only downfall is that thr restaurant isn't open prior to 11am this time of year through the week. I do recommend playing this course. Played 12/29 - 12/30/21.

Coming back
I live in Durham. Spending a couple of nights in Myrtle Beach. Just want to get around them before getting to the resort. Never play Brunswick before but glad that I did. I had a 1252 teetime, I got to the course kind of early. The starter was really kind and accommodating and let me start a little bit early. The course was in really good condition from Tee to Green. Got to give some props to the Grounds crew for keeping the course in such a great condition for December. Played in about three hours Which allowed me to get to Myrtle Beach before dark. I will certainly come back next time I come down to Myrtle Beach.

course was in immaculate shape fromm tee to green. played Dogwood to Azalea. I would rename Dogleg Left and Bunker Hill. greens were fairly quick and rolled true. fairways were rolling nicely as well. wonderful afternoon of golf and will definitely keep on my myrtle beach rotation. kudos to maintenance staff for pristine nature of course and also for blowing any leaves off of fairways and initial rough.
Course was in good condition for the time of year. Overseed is filling in nicely. Greens rolled well. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyable Experience
Friendly staff! Welcoming environment. Late November conditions are never ideal but this course was in wonderful condition considering the time of year, especially the greens and tee boxes. I will definitely comeback.
