About
Brunswick Plantation & Golf Resort is a 27-hole layout located in the fishing village of Calabash, North Carolina, abut 20 minutes north of Myrtle Beach.
It has three distinct nines: the Magnolia, Azalea and Dogwood. On all nines, you need to hit the ball straight off the tee, taking care of the fairway bunkers, some of which are fairly high-lipped. The course has quick, bent-grass greens, moderately large, and lush, well-tended fairways set amidst tall, Carolina pines.
The dogwood course lies along the waters of the Caw Caw Run amongst hardwood trees with wide open fairways. All are fairly flat with moderate rough.

Good greens, dufferent look
Surprised by the 2 different grasses of the green they still rolled well. Very receiptive. Good course conditions, I will be going back. Superbe club house.
Typical Winter Conditions
The grass appears mostly dormant and the fairways are thin, but we had a good time. The bunkers are poorly maintained, but I guess this is typical for a winter golf experience. It is a nice layout. I would give it another try in the spring, summer or fall.
The greens were sub par bumpy and very irregular

Excellence with perfection.
Great course for my son and I to play. The atmosphere from the clubhouse to the bag drop off. To the fairways and the bunkers. Great experience.
Excellence in the total experience.
From the bag drop off till the last putt - first class in all areas.
My son and I were treated like we were a member of the course. No distinction at all.
The drink cart staff were just as nice as the starter and the clubhouse employees.
The course was in great shape and it was a fun experience over all.

Course was well-maintained, and the layout was pleasant. The surrounding houses (on each hole) did not intrude.

Nice Course
The conditions were ok and the pace of play was average. It’s a decent track that can challenge you at times. The staff was polite but not outstanding. The round was ok but nothing stands out.
Nice course and well maintain
First time playing the course and my wife and I enjoyed playing it. It would have been a better round if the pace of play was better. Since being a marshal and starter myself, I know golfers like to set their own pace of play but that's not possible if the golf course is busy. Just treat everyone fairly and don't assume it's one group..
fastest greens I've played down here
these bent greens were similar to private courses I've played, and I've played many. I'll be back
Good Layout
The conditions were fine but the pace of play needed a ranger. It’s a nice layout that’s worth playing but I felt they catered to their members and guest were a bit of a bother
This Course Roars
This Tiger is terrific! A great layout that will challenge golfers of all skill levels. The conditions and pace of play were good. The staff is friendly . My only complaint is that there are very few yardage markers so make sure to bring your range finder. This course should be on your list when you come to North Myrtle Beach ⛳️
