Approach shot on one of the holes.. shows the average putting green condition Photo submitted by dmhj4evr on 09/30/2013
hasn't changed in 20years
greens and fairways weren't awful, the cart paths were all trash though. Why can't they repair them? The paths have been destroyed probably 15+ years. The bridge was out on hole 18.
Part of a pleasant round of golf is being able to drive from one green to the next tee box without knocking your back out from off road looking cart path.
Great course!
Great challenge for a round after work! The only thing I would say to improve is the carts functionality and cart paths!
Harry’s getting better
Looks a lot better since last time I played there. Fairways are green and look good. Greens look good and are rolling.
First experience here
Round took 5 hours, and this was the worst condition course I’ve ever played. Every hole had burnt grass fairways and very long furry greens. Unique layout with LOTS of blinds shots. Also don’t let them try to give you cart 34, the brake doesn’t work. Worker gave me a hard time when I told him I’d like to switch carts. And the snack/food counter wasn’t open at the turn around 5:30…
Fabulous Time and Beautiful Course
My friends and I are classmates of the United States Military Academy, West Point, Class of 74.
One never played before at this course. All of us loved the challenges and agreed that the course was very well maintained and the greens were in excellent condition.
The staff was super friendly and the service was quick and courteous !!!
Thank you ... we'll be back.

Fantastic course
Absolutely loved playing this course. Very fun layout with great conditions. Front 9 is much more forgiving off the Tees but had some key placed hills and bunkers to keep it challenging. Fairways and rough were excellent. Greens were challenging but consistent. Will definitely be playing again any time I’m in the area!
Next to last minute option
Carts are old and the cart path is older … needs a new cart path from beginning to end.
Looking better
For the last few years this course had been a mess. They recently renovated the greens and replaced the old bent grass with bermuda and it has been a night and day difference. They still need to cut them shorter, now that it’s warming up I hope they work on the pace of the greens. My biggest gripe about the course is the lack of cart paths, or should I say the condition of the current paths. Wow, it’s a rough ride, especially the back nine. And my only other gripe is the lack of indoor staff. If you stop at the turn to grab a couple beers, it might take you a half hour because the same person that runs the front desk is trying to pull double duty in the concession area. Give them at man some help! :). Overall it’s decent golf for the money, and a very challenging layout.
Book a chiropractic appointment when you book your tee time.
Check-in was okay and we went off on time. The course is in decent shape but the cart paths were awful. I thought another reviewer may have been exaggerating a bit when he said the paths were bad. I needed a trip to the chiropractor after about 4 holes. On #10 there is a nasty undulation/drop in the cart path that will wind up injuring someone if it is not repaired soon. Beware of this as you approach the green on the cart path. Make sure you put your headcovers back on as well or you'll wind up with some fresh new dents or dings in your woods.
The most memorable part of the day was the car paths. They really were that bad. I really want to like this course but I just can't right now. I'll give it a shot again one day if the paths are fixed. Until then, I'll play elsewhere.
Be aware of plating after the last rainy days
There were a lot of mud on the fairway due to it’s raining almost the day before.. Otherwise the course is challenging for new golfers.
Average-Not Bad
First, in general this is an average value course. Not great but not bad. Greens are early season and decent shape. Tee boxes were rough and fairways need improvement. I suspect the time of year plays a role in the course conditions. Not packed during the week so not pressed nor waiting. Relaxed round and good game improvement practice. Try it out and have fun!
Beautiful day to play
Played on 3/22/2022 and wasn't impressed with conditions or layout of course. Some of the holes had fairways that resembled the surface of the moon. Also Cart paths need lots of attention sort of like riding a buckboard. The back nine had more character than the front but still not enough for me to play there again. I wouldn't play here again but if anyone reading this review is thinking about it I recommend that you pay no more than 25 to play.
