Approach shot on one of the holes.. shows the average putting green condition Photo submitted by dmhj4evr on 09/30/2013
Greens in great shape
For a public course in town, I was really blown away by the condition of the greens. In very good shape and played true. The rest of the course has seen a lot of rain recently but was starting to dry out. Besides a couple of tee boxes in bad shape, I found the condition very good for a public course that gets as much play as it does. For the price, this is a good option close to downtown Charlotte.
Love this course!
It is my first time playing at this course. The fairway, greens and hazards are so well kept. It is a bang for your buck. Definitely worth every penny. This will be my new home course
Slow greens
Cart paths are beat up, greens are extremely slow, lots of maintenance taking place but pace of place wasn’t bad though.
Not great
Making my way to all the public courses around Charlotte. It’s fine if you want to get out and play. It’s average all around (3 stars). I would recommend spending an extra $10 and going out to a course in the surrounding areas of Charlotte (Mathews, Concord, etc).
Overall a good round
The round was overall pretty good. The course was in good condition. We breezed through the front nine but pace of play on the back nine was not good.
I truly wish more investment would be made into this course. It could be a GEM
Need to get the rollers out!!! Mow the greens. And RE-pave the cart paths. This course has so much potential.
Good
Friendly staff good layout for public course would play again
Poor staff and course drainage
Multiple staff members were fairly rude and the course had pretty poor drainage and held a lot of water…taking in to effect of the recent rain. Would not recommend for the price.
Average at best
Not the best shape/maintenance during winter times. Summer time, they do a good job for the price. But probably won’t play it again during the winter. You can find courses that maintain it better and for the same price. Good layout though and requires you to play different kind of shots. Practice facility is decent for the Charlotte area. Let’s you hit off grass but still expensive for the amount of range balls they give you. There are other places that give more for the same price
Not bad at all
First time playing here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there on a soggy day but the course seemed to drain well and it was 90 degree rule. I'd like to come back in the spring or summer when it's dry. Overall I would play here again and my partner shot a 74 so he thought the course was absolutely perfect. 😀
