Fun day of golf
I've played this course several times in the last few months. It's in very good shape. The grounds were a little harder than previous outings but it has been dry in Charlotte for several weeks. It's a good place to play for beginners and the pace of play is pretty decent.
100% worth it
My son has played there a couple times with the USGA kids, but I had never played it myself until yesterday and I absolutely loved it. It’s player friendly. It’s perfectly challenging for the weekend warrior just an all-around good time especially if you walk it.
A gem
9 hole muni is perfect. Course is in great shape. At ease players and staff. No pretentiousness. Layout is fun and at times challenging. And that par 5 leaves zero room for errors. Highly recommend
Sifford Review
I LOVE this course, it's a total gem in Charlotte. What I don't love is the fact that you have to use GolfNow app to get a tee time, and even then, they had no record of it in the pro shop or on the starter's list. It was extremely over crowded (twilight on a Sunday but still...) and there is effectively no marshall to keep things on pace. Love the course but they need to manage the course.
Great Conditions!
Greens were in a great shape! Will be back real soon for more rounds
First time
It was the first time I played there.
Great course to work on short game and you shouldn't lose many balls if any 6 pars 1 birdie 2 boggy
Need course management policing a group 2 places ahead was hitting 3 balls of the tee and fairway when did not likede the result holding everything
The players do what ever they feel like no one checking why the pace of players is so slow about 15 minutes a hole they need Marshals to enforce playing etiquette
Challenging 9-Hole Course
A great place to squeeze 9-holes in to work on your game. Love the layout. A few of the elevated greens can really mess with you if you don’t get your ball on the putting surface.
Meeting new golfers
Overall I played horrible, but its that one shot that will keep me coming back. I also enjoyed meeting other golfers that weren't there to judge, but to get better like myself and had patience. as I struggled. Shout out to Brandon and Sasha.
Pace of Play
As a new golfer I appreciated the staff friendliness and the patience of the couple we were paired with. While I had many struggles along the course we maintained a good pace and had no issues with the pair ahead or behind us.
Our home course
We live nearby so it's very convenient and greens challenging
Don’t waste your time and money
No starter. The course is a free for all with no marshals or anyone to help pace of play. Very average 9 hole course with nice carts and decent cart paths.
