Great holes And layout No where near a PGA championship conditioned course but the holes are fun Greens were sanded when I played so that took away from it but overall-its a nice course. Great layout. A true championship style course. Very difficult from the tips.

Great job, beautiful course, with lightning fast greens and so many sand traps. A real challenge.

The new greens are smooth and the fairways are in very good condition. Overall.the course is in very good condition.

The greens are perfect and fast but fair. Fairways are in good shape but there were some rough, clumpy spots off out the fairways. Overall just a fantastic value to play on a top notch golf course.

That said, the white stakes between 14 and 15 is bush league. While I do understand the goal to keep people from playing in adjoining fairways, out of bounds isn't the way to do it. Either redesign the holes or plant trees to keep people in their own fairway, but oob stakes is not the way to fix a design flaw on a layout.

ground was hard as concrete yet carts on path only. I wont be going back there are too many good courses in the area that are not so unfair to the paying customer.

Greens are ok but are not up to all he local hype fairways are awful all poe and had not been mowed bunkers are vastly improved. course maintance was incomplete lots of areas bare dirt or stumps from tree removal. could not understand the cart path rule fairways are all poe. so far it is nothing special.

The big claim about this "Championship Course" being re-done is a joke. Only visible improvement was the bunkering - added white sand. Nothing else seemed "better." There are many, many areas of the course where there has been no improvement to erosion areas, etc. Yardage markers are severely lacking. No 150 bushes. And some holes may, or may not, have in-ground yard markers, or painted yardages on the cart paths. All in all, my expectations of the "remodeled Championship Course" was a disappointment. Also, the "cart path only" rule had no justification.

Course was in great shape after the renovation. The greens were dormant but very smooth, fairways were over seeded and great to play off of. Bunkers were excellent and very playable. Course is a great layout with challenging but fun holes. No bad hole on the course, I can understand why there was a PGA Championship here.

Greens and new sand traps were definitely a wonderfull improvement. Hopefully fairways and replanted areas in the rough will come out this spring. Usually play here can be pretty slow, but despite the course being full we moved around in well under 4 hrs. Enjoyable round and will look forward to playing as weather gets better.

With the new redesign this has to be one of the best public golf courses for the money.

Tanglewood is an outstanding golf course. Every hole offers a visual challenge. A variety of tee locations for any skill level however the greens have been resurfaced and with the slope and contour are challenging to putt. Smooth and consistent from green to green. Bunkering is specular and the sand is playable. The bright white sand contrasting the green of the course is impressive. A difficult course where par is good.
