The Challenge Golf Club

This is a gem of a course. Beautifully designed, well maintained, and challenging. Will be returning. Oh, and very friendly staff!!

It's really a shame that this course doesn't get all the play it deserves. Despite its name, it's not going to be all that hard of a test for higher handicap golfers or women.

The course conditions were good. Fairways were in decent shape - better than some more "upscale" public courses in the area. Greens were in very good shape (despite quite a few too many unrepaired ballmarks) and rolled true. I'm not sure that they're Championship Bermuda though.

It's a fun course where you'll likely use most of your clubs. The staff could not be nicer, or more accommodating. And the price is certainly right.

Had not played there in a few years. Played in under 4 hrs. Players and staff were nice. Greens in great shape. Had been dry for a few weeks so fairways need water but still very playable. Good value

Played the Challenge this past Memorial Day, with a 3 great golf associates. We had a great round. Good weather.

Overall, the course is in good shape -a little dry, but good.

Greens played very well.

The course had received over 4 inches of rain the day before. We arrived 1 hour ahead of our tee time and where allowed to start right away. The course was wet but that was to be expected. The greens were in great shape and the layout is fun. The regular price is too steep for me but being I received a hot deal my price was well worth it.

Challenging course; greens appeared to be painted but pretty fast. Course layout is great but it’s not what it used to be. Owner needs to put some dollars back into the course to bring it back to its former self.

New greens in great shape. Course was busy from a tournament and had a frost delay that ended up causing a long delay but once we teed off and got going, everything was ok. Fairways are sparse due to lack of growth. This course will be in great shape in 3-4 weeks.

Not a great course, but it’s ok. Played there because they have Bermuda greens which weren’t being aerified. It was better than I expected. For $20, I would play it again.

When the new greens get cut, this will be a fun course to play. Layout is good, and greens are large. New bermuda greens look like they came in great - they are just a bit long and slow right now. Challenging course with multiple tee boxes - although some of them are lacking any grass at all right now.

For the price it's hard to beat. Great layout that matches its name. Very muddy right now and fairways are sparse, which describes most courses in the area due to heavy rainfall recently. Greens are in excellent condition and fast.

This course was a good value for the money in really good shape for the amount of rain it's had thanks golf now

was initially paired with two people that were in their 80s had to turn around and start at the back side and hooked up with three individuals that made my day thank you for your flexibility greens were marvelous

Good layout, and the course is appropriately named. Stay in the fairways!! Lots of deep rough and fall leaves still have a few of my golf balls hidden in them!! Only negative was the complete lack of ball washers. I mentioned this at the clubhouse and was told they lost them in last years hard winter and are working on a solution. I will play the Challenge again soon.

I played the Challenge about two months ago and the greens were in rough shape but they have recovered nicely. Several holes live up to the name requiring strategic shot selection with well-placed bunkers and water. Fun track to play if you don't get too frustrated!

Played my fourth round there on Sunday. Just moved here in June. Love this course wish it was closer to my home. But well worth the 40 min drive

The course and greens are in excellent condition. We played on a Monday morning and the course was nearly empty. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They only have a driving net to practice you shots before the round (no driving range) but the shape of the course makes up for that. If this course was closer to our home we would play there all the time. A note in case you were going to get coffee or a breakfast item before your round. The snack bar didn’t open until later in the morning so don’t expect to get something before an early morning round.
