About
Challenge Golf Club sprawls across a scenic stretch of rolling farmland that sits alongside the Haw River. The lush hills are accented with mature hardwood forests, providing a scenic setting for a round of golf. The hilly terrain on this golf course will test not only your shot-making abilities but also your accuracy. Lakes provide even more natural hazards. Golfers can expect a few perilous carries over water. To add to the layout's difficulty, there are numerous bunkers strategically placed along the greens. The golf course is arguably one of the area's most formidable tests. Although thoughtful strategy and creative shot making will be generously rewarded, it’s not an overly punishing layout. Challenge Golf Club's final hole is a memorable par 5 that's definitely tough, but if you play it smart it could also be a great birdie opportunity.

Great greens, decent elsewhere
The course was decent for being January golf. No overseeding anywhere, but the fairways were ok for being dormant, and the bunkers were maintained. The greens were fantastic, running at least at a 10, and very true.
Playing at the Challenge in Graham, NC
The course is just like it's name Challenging. The layout is great. The scenery for the time of year is fantastic. And the staff was very friendly!!! If you've never played it before, you'll have a great experience!!

Very challenging course, big premium on driving accuracy, chipping, sand play, putting.
The course is fairly difficult, very important to play the correct tees for your game. Greens are large, undulating and fairly quick. Avoiding 3 putts is an all-day chore. Lots of fairway and greenside bunkers, all well maintained. The variety of the layout is outstanding, no two holes are alike. One of the best courses I have played for the money. I would recommend.

Fairways in good condition, some goosegrass on greens but they putt well. A fun course to play

This course was in outstanding condition. The greens gave a true roll. I would recommend anyone in the area to play this nice, yet challenging course.

NOTHING GREAT BUT OK TO PLAY. YOU COULD TELL BY THE CONDITION OF THE COURSE AND THE STAFF THAT THEY WERE STRUGGLING TO MAKE ENDS MEET
