About
Olde Point Golf & Country Club sprawls across a rolling landscape covered with mature trees, sparkling blue lakes, and meandering streams. Native vegetation is abundant across the gentle hills. It is a course that is both scenic and challenging. Built in 1975, it opened to the public a year later although members enjoy guaranteed tee times. The many water features all over the course come into play frequently and there are also strategically placed bunkers lurking beside the greens. The doglegs are no easy feat either. From the championship tees, the golf course is a formidable test that requires well placed shots but the three other tees provide a gentler game that is more approachable for beginners. In addition to the golf course, Olde Point also has a grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Gotta be a better way
No way this should have Countey Club in the name. I was excited to play this course only to find that the tee boxes are mostly sand. Needs are Marshall to keep play up, as we started on the front +14 minutes and the back was -38 minutes. Might have been the couple switching and infant so they each could play.....not in golf people and overall it's just not what I would have expected for my money.
Great value
This course was a great value but due to drought conditions, fairways were like hitting off concrete. This was the second time playing here. I would definitely recommend this course but it seemed to have better conditions in the fall.
Consistent
This course is always fun to play. Super nice staff and theblay out is really fun. I've played here a ton of times and will for sure be back many more. 👏
Horrible
Not worth any amount of money. Just not a golf course. Poorly kept. Bad owner attitude.
Greens roll nice
The course is average. The greens are actually better than others in the area. The cart beeps too much!! It’s very annoying.
Good Value
Course was in decent shape, staff great, parking no issue, clubhouse nice, given recent rough winter course was in decent shape. Greens had some uneven areas, fairways with some bare patches. You can work around then and enjoy the good rate for the round.
Delightful no-stress game
The staff is incredibly friendly and down to earth. We love the layout start to finish (except for maybe the 9th hole which runs along the road and stresses out a guy like me who slices a lot). Pretty laid back, almost like a community-run course.
Nice local course
This is a nice local course which has been improved upon since I last played it. The carts are new and are equipped with rangefinders.
Nice carts
The carts have GPS now, that’s a nice upgrade since the last time I played this course. Pace of play was terrible, 6-7 groups stacked up from hole 6-18.
