About
Lockwood Folly Country Club is a superbly conditioned, semi-private, member owned "hidden gem". The course is located at the confluence of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Lockwood Folly River, providing golfers with breathtaking vistas of tidal estuary, moss covered hard- woods and the solitude of nature. Tree lined, nonparallel fairways winding through hardwoods and pine afford a sense of seclusion while challanged with championship golf.

Hidden Gem
First time back in a long while. The greens have mostly come back but there are a couple of bare spots here and there. Middle of the road green speed but they roll true. No accoutrements available at the turn and no cart person takes this down a notch. The course highly favors a draw shot off the tee but still manageable with proper placement. Perfect weather and we'll return before the cold sets in!

I haven’t played this course for a few years. I have always enjoyed the course design. The pin locations give the average golfer a fair shot at a sub 90 score making the round enjoyable. Most of the bunkers surrounding the greens gave you a playable lie having dry, loose sand and the fairway bunkers allowed for ball advancement. My only disappointment was in the fairway. I didn’t ‘t remember the turf being so spongy. Divits were stringy and straw-like making an accurate shot challenging. I meant to ask if the fairways were reseeded to make them more resistant to hot, dry conditions. Overall we had a nice afternoon of golf zipping around the course in well maintained carts!
Good layout
Good course and the layout was good as well. Unfortunately was slow play on many holes. Course could use some TLC however. Lots of rain made some of bunkers unplayable!
First time at the wood
I arrived a few minutes late to my tee time and I was still offered a chance to warm up for our round, this facility did have a beverage cart on the course and it was a great experience to play here
Great course
Very well keep course. Greens were great, rolled true.. definitely a course I would play again....
