Decent course for the money
Theh course was very wet. It was cart path only. The greens were in good shape, but the fairways were soaked. Lots of mud balls. We played as a two-some with a foursome in front of us. We waited on every shot until we decided to skip a hole and jump ahead of the foursome. It would have been nice if there were a ranger on the course to tell the foursome to let us play through.
Wet
Course was extremely wet as would be expected this time of year. Greens in decent shape.
Beginner Plyer
Let me be up front and admit that I am a beginner player and this is not a course for beginners. Course is narrow with a bunch of water hazards and I lost 10 balls. Not the courses fault I’m just a bad player. New owners are working on improving the course and it shows but still needs work. Staff was very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a challenge then this is the course for you.
All around good course
You can tell that the current owners are bringing the course up to high standards. Very scenic course to play.
Dan b
It had some interesting hole and the greens were very good
Great shape
The golf course is in great shape. The views along the inter coastal are amazing.I would absolutely recommend playing here . It is under new ownership and you can tell they have put some money into the golf course.
Great value!
This was my first time playing at this hidden gem. Staff was great and the new ownership really put a lot of work into optimizing course conditions resulting in really nice greens, fairways and tee boxes. I am a 14 handicap and felt that the layout offered a good balance of challenges with some narrow fairways and water hazards without having to lose a dozen balls and breaking your driver in half. Take advantage while you can before more folks discover this newly revamped links!
Brick Landing
Very Happy that Brick Landing is OPEN. The course is in excellent condition with all Tees, Fairways and especially Greens in Great condition.... Had a great experience ... THANK YOU!!!
Tons of potential. Enjoyable course!
The course was shut down for a while during transfer of ownership. You can tell that effort is being put into the course to restore its prominence. There are some beautiful views on this course, from Intracoastal waterway to Saucepan Creek. The course is challenging in some areas and forgiving in others. I feel like it is a great value and look forward to playing it many more times.
Great course, staff, layout!
I have played golf courses all over the Ocean Isle/Myrtle Beach area and can say that the Links at Brick Landing staff, layout (amazing views), condition and price is the best you can find.
Super friendly staff, nice course.
Staff was super friendly really a pleasure to deal with. The course overall is a good layout. Some holes are pretty tight fairways, and others open up where you can really try and rip it. A bunch of water in play, including some little hidden water spots you will not see from the tee or on some approach shots. Recommend using a gps. Greens were all in good shape no complaints. Firm and rolled nice, cold weather so expected the firmness. One hole the tee box was in bad shape, and the rough leading to that fairway was in bad shape, believe hole 3 or 4. Other than that the course was in real good shape, if they over seeded for the winter could be even better but still good the way it is. For the deal I can deal with one poor condition start to a hole. Layout is fun, some real nice views on 4 holes, and the rest typical layouts to the area. Overall moderate difficulty can be enjoyed by a range of skill levels with the spread of the tee boxes. Will definitely be playing here again, and would recommend it. Pro shop had drinks available, and the food after is pretty good too.
Thank you for taking the time to leave Brick Landing Plantation Golf Club a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
