The Links Never Disappoints
This is probably my 10th time playing here, and it has to be in my top 3 courses. Holes 1 and 18 are set along the Intercoastal Waterway and are just beautiful. There is a lot of water on the course, so the course demands accuracy over distance. The staff is always friendly. The course does not come back to the clubhouse at the turn, but there is always a beverage cart roaming the course. Spotted an alligator for the first time on this round. Was told he'd been hanging out on the 9th green, but he was back in the water when I got there. Love this course and the whole area of Ocean Isle. I'll be back!
Nice course but also hard course
I am a 15 handicapper. This course has lots of water hazards. I lost my fair share of golf balls when I played. It is not a forgiving course but Inenjoyed playing it. The course could use some cart path maintenance.

Fairways hard and dry. Greens decent. Tee boxes okay. Scenery great. Staff wad welcoming and friendly.
best course conditions overall, beats anything in Myrtle Beach
beautiful course and in great shape compared to the ones in Myrtle beach (hard as concrete). definitly worth the driving from myrtle beach ! majestic scenery on the 18th holes. still a challenging course and great prices, its worh it !
Cart paths
Cart paths need lots of work.
Tee boxes and greens were in great shape.
A treat to play
The layout is challenging it makes you work for sure but it is a treat to play, great views, ever hole is different, the course was in much better condition than the last time we played it, the staff was amazing
Underated
Very interesting layout with plenty of water
Some absolutely gorgeous holes like #18
Can't beat the price
New restaurant which I did not try, but is getting good reviews
Course conditions also very good considering the current drought in SE NC
Perfect customer service
Absolute excellent customer service and great course
Don't go in winter unless you're ok with skint conditions
Like the layout will be back in the late spring or Summer .

9 holes
This is a very tight course with water hazards coming into play on a lot of holes. The greens were in great shape and rolled very fast. Accuracy off the tee is important here—if you hook or slice the ball, you’re likely heading into the water or toward someone’s backyard. There are houses lining several fairways, so keeping it straight really matters. It’s not a very long course, but it definitely keeps you on your toes. Overall, a nice course if you like a shorter layout that demands precision.
