The Links at Brick Landing, a gated community with an 18-hole golf course, is located north of Myrtle Beach in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina and features Atlantic ocean views along the Intracoastal Waterway. Four holes on the back nine are adjacent to Sauce Pan Creek which is a saltwater marsh filled with wildlife. Nos. 1 and 18 sit on the Intracoastal Waterway with the Ocean Isle Beach barrier island serving as a backdrop. The course was sold and received new ownership in 2021 and renovations include new Sunday Ultradwarf Bermuda greens.

I booked this course after reviewing it on Tee Off. It appeared to be an interesting course at a decent price. Once at the course, the Pro Shop rep was very nice and asked if I had played there before. I had not and he offered helpful course information and a course card review that ended being very helpful negotiating the layout. This ended up being very important and made all the difference. The bag drop rep offered great guidance as well. The card and information made what could have been a stressful round (not knowing the course) into a very enjoyable round of golf on what was a very well-maintained course. I can't wait to play it again.
Took my son out. I'm scratch, he's 20. 1 and 18 border the intercoastal and have great views. Course conditions are pretty rough. Tee boxes long, bare spots in fairways (not due to drought),. Greens have been stressed due to lack of rain, but course has maintained them pretty well. We paid $42/person, and that's about the fair value.
There are better options
The course design is weak. There are better options for the same price.
Tight course
The course layout is tight but it was in good shape for hot July day. Staff was extremely courteous. Overall good experience.
First time playing
Really liked this course as it was my first time playing it even though I have played golf in this area for over 30 years.
Greens on first two holes were a little rough but got a lot better after that.
Challenging but fair.
Would definitely play again.

Poor conditions
Nice staff at Brick Landing. The area has been experiencing drought conditions so they have somewhat of an excuse but the course was in bad shape. Many of the tee boxes were bare which could have been helped by moving the tee markers. The fairways were very irregular and bare. The greens were slow and very bumpy. If you're not used to making putts you likely wouldn't notice.
Fun Course
Course was in decent shape. Greens had just been punched and pace of play seemed incredibly slow but somehow still finished in 4 hours. No putting green to get ready before round and beverage cart only came around once on hot day. Overall the course layout is interesting and would play again after greens have recovered.
Brick Landing's Back
The course has made significantly improved since 2025.
The greens were good, mist of the fairways were average, hut considering our drought, they were playable.
Don't be afraid to give it a try if you're vacationing in the area. Staff was super friendly.

This is a great layout. No better options for the price they charge. They also have the best local rate of all of the local golf courses around this area. They take cars of us locals.
