Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

First Timer
My brother and I had a great time. The course was in very good condition and the pace of play was good considering that it was the middle of vacation season. The course staff was cordial and helpful. Look forward to playing again the next time we're in town.

Decent golf in a very convenient location
Sea Scape's chief advantage is its location, being one of the most convenient courses to Corolla, Duck, Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. The course itself has its charms but also has some drawbacks.
Overall, it's a pretty setting, generally well hemmed in by trees and bushes, so you're not too aware of the houses, stores or even the ocean that surround the course. The classic 1960s design has the old traditional feel about it with some nice use of hills on several holes. Not too challenging, but certainly not a beginners course.
Conditions when I played were merely OK...fairways were long after a rainy night and the greens were a bit beat up but rolled true. Probably the most surprising thing about the course, given its location at the beach, is the relative absence of bunkers around the greens--I hit way more cart paths than sand. No. 17 is the most memorable hole, a long par 3 with water short and right. I do not care for No. 10, a short par 4 marred by apartments all along the right side, practically in play. Other holes are much more secluded.

Great course
In the area on vacation and found Sea Scape on GolfNow. Book tee time on Friday. Play 8 holes and got rain out. Staff was generous enough and passed out rain check. So went back and played 18
This course is very nice layout. Some challenges on holes but very playable. Would recommend if anybody in the area

Great OBX course
First time playing Sea Scape and we loved it. Teed off 20 minutes early and had a sub 4 hour round. Course was in great condition! Playing again tomorrow morning.

Enjoyable first time
Fun course. Overall in really good shape, greens were quick and rolled super smooth. Price was a little higher than I normally like to pay, but it was on par with what the other courses in the area charge

Good value
Grabbed a 9 hole rate early out on a Wed. Just over 2 hour nine. Conditions were pretty good. Greens were in good shape. Tee boxes were level. All in all, would come back.

Great vacation golf course. Pace of play is perfect for a quick round so you can get back to the family. Course is open and therfore forgiving. Only problem is the divots on the greens, which is not the staffs fault.
