The Currituck Club has a Rees Jones-designed layout that stands out from other Outer Banks courses, mostly thanks to its ideal location along the Currituck Sound. The golf course shares the landscape with an abundance of wildlife including deer, osprey, geese, and turtles. Golfers might even catch a glimpse of an eagle soaring overhead. The layout tumbles across rolling sand dunes and combined with the seaside location, the golf course offers a true links feel that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. The diverse coastal terrain is covered with maritime forests and wetlands. The holes are both challenging and scenic, especially the seventh through the ninth, which sit right along the Sound. The golf course also finishes on the Sound with a scenic closing stretch. Playing The Currituck Club right at sundown will provide unrivaled views.

Fun course - Over priced

Course has a fun layout. It’s a nice track it’s just overpriced. It doesn’t pull its weight for a $200 green fee especially not the speed the greens ran and their condition. Again, definitely a nice a course but the price isn’t justified.

Always fun

Course was not quite if mid season condition. Green a little slow. Fairways and rough a bit sparse. Pass slow.

Conditions not good

Likely due to extreme winter the course was not in good condition. The greens were punched and fairways showed lots of winter damage. Overall the fee was too high considering the conditions.

Decent course, not worth the price

This course needs some help. The fairways were burnt. The bunkers haven't been groomed since before it rained 2 days ago. The carts are in poor condition, rusty parts and no GPS. Our cart died in the middle of a hole, but a local that we were playing with knew to yank on the gas pedal a few times and got it going. A course of this caliber should have some perks like tees in the carts, ice and water in the coolers, towels in the cart, and range balls included. There are courses in the area in better condition for less money.

OBX

Best course on the Outer Banks IMO. Course was in best shape I have ever seen. I have played it around 10 times over the years. Greens were awesome. Round was hampered by very slow groups that we caught up to on the back nine.

Time less

Have played this course at least a dozen times over atleast that many years and time after time the course delivers with spectacular views, challenging layout and serene conditions. The staff is great and friendly. I would like there to be an off season rate though as April is a notoriously slow month always and getting out to play is so easy and a better rate would equal to more rounds played and benefit the course I believe.

Great course

Conditions were great for the lack of rain - that’s why I gave it a 4/5 and not a 5/5.

I find Currituck to always be a little overpriced.

Excellent preseason condition

The Currituck Club was in excellent condition. Price was fair. Pace of play was excellent as a twosome. Caught up to a series of foursomes late in the round, but they played with good pace. Greens were is very good condition. The course itself is fair and the wind gives it a bite. Winds on the day were 15-20 mph and generally from the southwest which differed from prior winds that I've played there. Zero complaints. A great day!
