Maggie Valley Resort & Country Club

I’ve played it before but my view has completely changed since they decided to charge me a 25$ cart rider fee for someone who is not playing and is just riding around. Absolutely ridiculous and so weak. I’ve played hundreds of different courses and is a first for charging that. Unbelievable to think that would happened. Definitely will think about where I play next time when that occurs.

I personally have played Maggie several times and I prefer the front 9 over the back. The back is still fun but definitely more challenging. Overall good course.

Friendly staff, very well conditioned, player friendly with very pretty views!

Enjoyed the 14 holes I played before the rain canceled the rest of the round. We were lucky to get that many holes in. We were told that once we teed off, there was no refunds of any kind. After the hour drive to get there, we wanted to play. Wished we could have finished.

Great conditions, great staff, very enjoyable course to play.

Course was in Perfect condition. Front nine “valley” was flat but fun. Back nine rolling hills w great views.

Only negative was “Tommy” employee jumped in front of several twosomes with a foursome on ten. Pace of play came to a screeching halt! Never allowed us to play thru as they looked for balls then took their time on the greens reputting putts etc.

employee playing with friends on a Sunday should know better than that to jump in front of paying customers on a Weekend.
