Been a couple years - greens punched maybe week and a half ago
This is my 6 th time playing here - been a couple years. Greens were receptive but still extremely bumpy and healing from getting punched at most a couple weeks ago. That’s has to be done couple times a year but just know they are not healed just yet. Like the layout and you can score very well putting your ball in the fairways off the tee. Bunkers could use some work but maybe a heavy rain was what caused some of what we saw. This course will test you if you are out of position and that’s what any course should do. Go give it a shot ! We thought a little pricey but everything costs more so be it !
Not worth the dough
Better off walking. Carts are old and run down. Greens are absolutely awful. Grass is not maintained well.
Bummer! You must've gotten a bad cart or something. Our carts are less than two years old and have numerous upgrades, including very comfortable seating and GPS units. The greens, when you played, were punched & aerated only 5 days prior. So, yes they're still healing and it's due to the maintenance we've done - not the lack of it. They'll be fully healed within the next couple of days. Please email us at clubatbrookstone@gmail.com, we'll be happy to comp your next round so you can enjoy the course when it's all healed up.
Aerated Course
Aerated course was not published before we booked. Turned up and told at pro-shop. No discount offered! 1-inch sand on all greens - impossible!

My kind of course
For the money, this course is unbeatable. Really well kept, and a fun layout. Good for any range of golf skill. Greens were a little hairy, but that made it more fun to play anyway. Homemade Turkey sandwiches, and dollar beer Tuesdays. It’s perfect

New Favorite Course!!
From the second I stepped into the pro shop, the staff was welcoming. Course was in great shape and had a pleasant design. Will most definitely be coming back.
Great course
Course was great all around. A lot rain in the area lately so the grass was a little tall on the greens and fairways but they were working to get everything cut as we were playing. Pleased overall. Spoke with the new GM and she was great and friendly.
Carnival Golf
Driver stays in the bag most holes, even from the tips. Course is in fine shape, but the greens roll way too slow.
Nice Course
Course was in pretty good shape and reasonably priced. Crowded due to an outing first thing in the morning.
We LOVED it!!
This course is awesome!! We had a great time. The fairways are the nicest around, and their practice area is easily the best in a 30 minute drive. The greens were punched last week but already look really good. The layout is engaging and different. The beverage cart girl was great. We'll be back, 10/10!

We're sorry you weren't thrilled with course conditions today. We did let everyone know at the time of booking that we aerated the greens the day before you played. When greens are aerated, holes are punched in the turf which allow the greens to remain healthy for years to come. The unfortunate result is that they will be bumpy until they heal, which in our case takes about a week. You're welcomed to email us at clubatbrookstone@gmail.com and mention this review, and we'll be happy to give you a free round of golf to experience the course when we didn't aerate the day before. This year, it's in great shape!!

Tee Boxes need work
I've played this course many times and the thing that stick out the most is the poor condition of the tee boxes. Many are uneven and most are lacking sod. Course maintenance needs to pay some attention to the tee boxes. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to move the teeing area daily or lay down some sod.
The greens were in pretty good shape and had a fairly smooth roll.
Still think Number 12 (par 5) is unfair as most shots roll to the left and if you play to the right you set up a blind shot. Also there is no lay up are for your second shot.
Greens are horrible
Fairways needed cut, and horrible ball marks and weed growth on the greens.
Ball marks are really only an issue on a couple greens, and those two greens were aerated yesterday so the marks have already been repaired and it'll be good as new in a couple week's time. We've also been working hard to keep golfers educated about fixing ball marks and I'm sure you saw signage on every hole asking people to fix ball marks. That is new and seems to have helped a lot. We hope you'll come back and see us again soon in a couple months post greens aerification!
