The Club at Brookstone

First out and we seem to have this course to ourselves. Young lady in the pro shop was great ( Sara I think ? ). Did not see any bad spots on the greens, few in the fairways but that is small issue. Third time playing this year and I would say this is the best shape it’s been in but it should be this time of the year. Price is enough - does not need to get any higher that of course is an opinion. Other courses around are a tad cheaper on Golfnow but my friend likes it here. He seems to think he plays his best here. Give it a shot if you have not played here !

Nothing worse than trying to tee off and the mower decides to mow the fairway.

Hard to play a game of golf when mowers decide mowing is more important then customer service and then follow you for 3 holes

Despite extreme damage from storms the Saturday before we played, the course was in great condition. Kudos to the staff who worked had to get the course in good condition by Wednesday. There were fallen trees throughout the course but nothing but minor debris on the fairways and greens. The Pro Shop staff were friendly and very informative.

Enjoyed a nice lunch in their newly opened restaurant after our round.

My wife loved the course as she shot her best round ever!!!

Little bit of a slow start - earlier group went to wrong hole to start and then got right in front of us so it slowed down the first few holes. Then at the turn a single started on the back right in front of us so it slows things down on that side. Guess things like that happen. Greens seem in good shape. Be careful on # 10. It’s right beside the range so little bit of a fad by someone over there can get into the 10 fairway quite often judging from the amount of range balls in the fairway. It’s a fair course. Good shots rewarded which is how it should be. Give it a chance but be careful on 10.

This is my 6 th time playing here - been a couple years. Greens were receptive but still extremely bumpy and healing from getting punched at most a couple weeks ago. That’s has to be done couple times a year but just know they are not healed just yet. Like the layout and you can score very well putting your ball in the fairways off the tee. Bunkers could use some work but maybe a heavy rain was what caused some of what we saw. This course will test you if you are out of position and that’s what any course should do. Go give it a shot ! We thought a little pricey but everything costs more so be it !

Better off walking. Carts are old and run down. Greens are absolutely awful. Grass is not maintained well.

Aerated course was not published before we booked. Turned up and told at pro-shop. No discount offered! 1-inch sand on all greens - impossible!

For the money, this course is unbeatable. Really well kept, and a fun layout. Good for any range of golf skill. Greens were a little hairy, but that made it more fun to play anyway. Homemade Turkey sandwiches, and dollar beer Tuesdays. It’s perfect

From the second I stepped into the pro shop, the staff was welcoming. Course was in great shape and had a pleasant design. Will most definitely be coming back.

Course was great all around. A lot rain in the area lately so the grass was a little tall on the greens and fairways but they were working to get everything cut as we were playing. Pleased overall. Spoke with the new GM and she was great and friendly.

Driver stays in the bag most holes, even from the tips. Course is in fine shape, but the greens roll way too slow.

Course was in pretty good shape and reasonably priced. Crowded due to an outing first thing in the morning.
