The Club at Brookstone

Was a great place to play we rented the scooter and that was a fun experience

I made a tee time through the app just to arrive at the course to discover there was a tournament going on. I was told to begin on the back nine and as I made the turn there was a traffic jam at the #1 tee box. My last nine holes was a waiting game behind the tournament. I feel the course overbooked for this particular day.

I was told to tee off on #10. I made the turn only to find a jam on the first tee box. There was also a tournament so pace of play for the last 9 holes were at a snails pace. The course had no starter and showed poor management and lack of leadership by not allowing those of us to maintain pace of play. I love the course and the staff is friendly but this was a frustrating experience.

The pro shop let 2 guys out in front of us without a tee time. Which would had been fine except they played 5 balls each off the tee. Then they hunted down each errant shot. They backed the whole course up and could have cared less. Two groups around us bailed on the back 9. The course itself is burnt out and nobody fixes ball marks.

Brookstone should not be allowed on Golf Now. The subdivision of high end homes is awesome the tennis court area is fine, the course is a disaster. There are negligible funds being spent on upkeep, and obviously it's been going on a very long time. What a shame.

I always have a blast playing this course. Fairways are mostly forgiving for fade players like myself. Nick in the pro shop is a super cool guy and always makes me feel at home 10/10 would recommend!

The people that play the course just need to repair their green divots and I would have bought a membership there on the spot.

This is one of the better hidden courses in the greater Greenville/Anderson area. Always able to get a decent tee time. The staff are very friendly. Cart girl makes it around multiple times during the round.

Nice course, not very challenging, but a great value. Would rate it higher but the pace of play was way too slow

The day my son and I played the course had double booked tee times on the first tee thru the GOLFNOW app and their pro shop. So, almost every tee time had two groups assigned. This lead to a one hour delay in start time and a 6 hour round of golf. Beware when you book.

Also, my sons friend was to play with us that day. He came down with COVID and was unable to play. I found out an hour prior to what was supposed to be my tee time. When I arrived at the course, I told the young man in the clubhouse we only had two because the third was sick and unable to make it. He said ‘OK, No problem’. I assumed at that point it was no big deal. Especially when I discovered the double booking issue. Today, I got a bill from the golf course thru GOLFNOW for the missing player. I’ve booked well over 100 rounds thru the app and maybe 5 times had been a player short and NEVER had this been an issue until Brookstone. When appealing this charge, the club wouldn’t budge.

Lesson learned by me. I’ll spend my golfing dollars elsewhere going forward. Good luck to all who book here. Pack a lunch, dinner and sleeping bag for the pace of play and by all means show up with everyone whether healthy or sick.

Finn scooters are a must. Absolutely fun time playing golf. Even the bad shots didn't seem to matter as much. They need to maybe buy more of them and more carts also. About a 20 minute delay waiting on carts. It was a nice day after some pretty terrible weather so understanding that the course was packed.
