No warning

One chance per year to play golf with my son. The course tees and green approach atras were all plugged and unusable. No warning online before booking. Sad.

Great design

The staff were amazing and the course is designed to be challenging, yet fair. The driving range with trackman in each bay was a great surprise! They also had a practice putting green with a separate green for chipping that also had a sand trap that were perfect for a pre-round warmup. I found this course well worth the drive from Greenville and will be playing here in the future.

1st time at Brokkestone

From the moment we walked in to the clubhouse we were treated professionally. We were asked if we wanted to start early which was nice. We did not have to worry about people rushing us cause it was slightly raining. Greens were fast but after we learned that we were having a blast. Driving range is also a 5 start for price and quality. Can't wait to come back.

The course is good. The conditions were quite good. No good for the four (4) minute tee time interval. Just doesn’t work when the tee sheet is full. Also a starter would help. We called the pro shop upon turning at number 10 and was told that he would come out and check what the holdup was with three groups on number 10 -never showed up. Need to address the congestion issue.

Also driving range balls that “spill” over to #10 fairway can cause delays in identifying your ball. There were dozens of range balls that can surround your play ball. Another slowdown.

Brookstone Golfing

First time eager to play Brookstone, Anderson SC. Was crowded for a Monday am. Very good and challenging layout. Fairways and greens in good shape. Could use more water. A few holes needing some TLC work in spots. This could be a really awesome course.
