The Club at Brookstone

Carts are disgusting, staff is rude, pace of play is horrible. They put all this money into a course and can't even take care of the simple things.

It's one of the best in the area. Course was in good shape and very challenging. The carts and GPS system leaves much to be desired. Other courses put this system to shame by comparison. For the price, it is a good course, but when you pay top dollar to get out first in the morning and that system starts screaming at you to speed up because they allow scooters to run all over the course making their pace much faster than a shared cart. Then you find your pace and finish the front 9 ten minutes ahead of pace, only to reach hole 10 and they've stuck other players starting at the back 9 in front of you and your pace falls to over 20 minutes behind because of all the players in front of you. I understand they're trying to make as much as they can but I pay to play one of the most expensive courses and you get placed behind. I won't play a week end again there.

Just everything is outstanding good from the Driving range with Trackman to the Putting Green and the overall course layout and conditions. 100% recommended. Will definitely come back.

Brandon at the desk was great, very friendly and professional. The course was fair and a lot of fun. It was also In great condition, greens rolled smooth. Had fun on the E bike and the rental clubs were a great set.

One of the better public courses in the Upstate area but needs better conditioning in several of the fairways. Several areas of bare spots, pot holes, rough terrain etc. More so on the front nine than the back nine. Lots of blind shots and up and down side lies. Definitely mountain style golf. Greens were in great shape and ran true. The driving range with the Trackman devices is the hi-lite of the course. "Top Golf" experience while hitting balls to warm up. Clearly cost a ton of money to create this experience which is great, but some additional capital should be put into course conditioning. Better conditioning would dramatically improve the golf experience. I'd play again.

I’ve lived in Anderson most my life. This is probably the best public course in upstate SC.

I only played the front nine holes, which are very hilly. This fact made it difficult to control the ball rollout on several holes. I found the 5th Hole green to be borderline unfair with the pin position during my round. The pin placement was in the front of the green, downhill from the back of the green with a huge drop off in front of the green.

Conditions are good but will be very good in a month. Great amenities.

Staff was friendly and honest. We had a 232 tee time but they had a school tournament going on guy at pro shop said he could get us out in about an hour but it would probably take 3 to 3 and a half hours to get thru the front 9. So we had to cut our losses and go somewhere else probably gonna try to go back next week
